OMG! Vidya Balan should stop looking like a 60 year old grand mom all the time!

Konkona for me is miles ahead of Vidya… And here you’re being too kind to Vidya.. WTH is that hair, or that lipstick or that expression of Vidya’s for that matter !!!

Love Vidya’s curls and big bindi. Konkona is starting to resemble Aparna, and that’s a compliment. :)

Vidya looks scary – no two ways to it – so OTT.

Lol! That was the word I was looking for!! Downright Scary!!

Konkona looks amazing. Vidya looks nice – but same old.

Vidya looks like an old tam mami. there’ll be time for that, vidya, you’re still young :-)

would love to see vidya in a vampish role soon. she’d be good i feel.

Konkona, i am in love with. so natural. unaffected.

I love how Konkana looks and love the bag she is carrying.
Hate the red lipstick on Vidya. And another pet peeve is you guys starting to use the word lippies more and more often. Urgh.

Wat beautiful saris! So so traditional chic. Both luk gud though with different feel. Luv konkona’s choice of bangles n bag. N vidya’s curls r doin some heavy-duty work 4 her face.

why do i have a feeling that vidya is starting to resemble celina lately…
she should have skipped either the bindi or the lipstick( too glary).. cant look past that..

as per the sarees i love both of’em.

    What’s with Vidya’s standard pose???

    1. trying too hard at | | Reply

i agree – that is what even i was thinking – she needs to figure out a new pose

  11. Vaishnavi at | | Reply

    loved Konkona!!

  12. veenu at | | Reply

Vidya is scaring me. I echo the celina resemblance comment that someone has made. In comparision Konkona is looking so charming. WOw!

    Matronly .. so matronly !!

vidhya has so much potential to look good & young in simple dressing & makeup.
right now she is looking very bad in that makeup & bindi.

Like konkana better, how she has kept it simple.

I have always loved Konkana. She stays true to her natural style here. Vidya’s look here makes her age 20 years and upwards….

    konkona for the WIN.

  17. rina at | | Reply

Konkona way better than Vidya! I think vidya;’s makeup too harsh. Konkona lovely and natural

  18. shriya at | | Reply

    konkona looks lovely here.

vidya’s sari is gorgeous but her make up is too loud here. still in character?

  20. Lalitha at | | Reply

I love saris and I really like both Vids and Konkana but aiyo, they are looking older than they are! Time to wear some chiffon or something ladies and look like the youngies you are!

  21. The Mad Momma at | | Reply

I like both. Don’t understand why people imagine a regular traditional saree is ageing. must every woman below 50 be in some blingy net mass produced monstrosity?

    1. purplez at | | Reply

      Totally agree there !

      1. slc at | | Reply

        So true!

  22. SMV at | | Reply

Vidya should join Ekta Kapoor in on of her soap opera’s for vamp’s role…she will fit well

    Konkana is way ahead here

Vidya’s dark lip, big bindi, big hair… seems OTT. Hope this isn’t some ‘Dirty Picture’ hangover…

Konkona’s look, I LOVE. Earthy and just beautiful. I want that sari so bad :)

  24. Adara at | | Reply

This OTT works only for one and that is Rekha. Vidya can’t do it without looking halloween-y. Why can’t she ever dress nice and elegant?

Konkana looks simple and elegant. Like.

  25. Arna at | | Reply

Vidya is interesting….she comes across as the “girl next door”…..and then you see her in photo editorals looking like a bitch diva…love it! She should rearlly stop with the saris tho!

Help!! Vidya’s lipstick is blinding me!!

Love Konkona’s look minus the jhola

  28. ash at | | Reply

Why must Vidya stop with the sarees? Some very sad comments on here. She looks great, leave her alone! Its konkana who looks dull and matronly in comparison yet everyones praising her to the skys. That sarees as common as you can get, Vidyas is far more striking looking.

  29. gauri at | | Reply

OMG THAT’S A WITCH! NO WAIT ITS GHOST! NO WAIT ITS VIDYA BALAN!!! Does she not own a mirror at home? Does no one tell her to change her clothes or tone down her makeup when she gets out like that?? Or does she yet think she’s in the Dirty Picture shooting phase!!
Lord save her! So much talent! How I wonder everyone must be mocking at her!! Sheeshhh!

Love Konkana’s total look, and oh my, that bag too………..Loving Vidya’s saree, and that is all about it

  31. Food poisoned attorney at | | Reply

Vidya’s make up is atrocious!!! Konkana wins this round. Love both the sarees though.

  32. Anonymous at | | Reply

Not a fan of either, but Konkana looks less scary compared to Vidya. Vidya Balan needs help. I can’t believe someone let her walk out the house like that and let her in this event. Not to be mean, but she looks horrible. I don’t have a problem with her wearing sarees all the time, but what’s with the giant bindi on her forehead? When has that ever been cool?

  33. Anonymous at | | Reply

Vidya is 34 younger than many of the Bollywood actresses like Aishwarya Rai, but she looks way older. She’s aging herself by dressing like that. It also is not flattering does nothing for her.

Love Vidya’s saree…love the print and the gorgeous colour. So much bttr than the glitzy, shimmery transparent net sarees preferred by the Bollywood gang!
