The dress is right up her alley, easy, slouchy and bohemian, as well as right on the trend as far Spring 08 went but somehow, the dress still doesn’t work on Simone. Maybe because it just doesn’t fall right! (Digging the ‘glads’ though…)

the reason the dress aint working is because the neckline is suppose to be boat shape and not round… the dress needs a little pick and drop back to avoide the wide feel it gives. Also i think it needs a bit more leg to look good!

i don’t think anyone can look good in this dress. it’s too busy and shiny. i’m getting a headache just from looking at it. however, good for simone for trying out ‘unsafe’ styles.

she is about 5.4 and the model would be about 5.10′ so obviously the outfit will look better on the model. The event had all the socialites trying/modelling the outfits for the store…WHY??

Its easy to see where the look goes wrong. The dress is too long on her (or maybe she’s too short). Plus you need legsamillion to carry it off well. Make that twigsamillion. And the necks’s off too.

By having socialites modelling their clothes, and looking so bad in the process, kenzo are just shooting themselves in the foot! That’s why they have runway models…Designers are supposed to sell fantasy and aspiration, not nightmares like this..
