hehe.. same thought, she does look like soha here..

they could’ve saved themselves some money by getting a body model for the covers and sticking the stars’ faces on the five different covers. neck down, they’re all identical.

Priyanka. Funny how Deepika looks better without the photoshop effects

What happened to PC here!!?? They have completely whitewashed her…Hate it!!

    Best — Deepika
Runner ups — Sonam and Anuskha
    Meh — Priyanka
Totally monotonous and insipid — Katrina. Guess KJo was right about the “pose thing”

      What pose thing??

Deepika is bringing it and how! Dislike how magazines continue to whiten up people – didn’t know Priyanka and Katrina had the same skin tone! As for the others – Katrina looks like she’s sucking in her stomach and holding her breath, Priyanka looks vixenish, Anushka’s and Sonam’s poses look a tad awkward but I like Sonam’s overall look.

Priyanka and Anushka look stunning here but I wish Kareena was also on the cover. Btw, that dress does not flatter Sonam.

such a weird cover.. having these girls sprawled across.. so awkward.. couldn’t they think of something better to do with them.. shame on you vogue..

why dint the stylist give anushka a gown …. ??
it seems unfair that she is given a day look dress.

PS: priyanka looks like a million dollars in this picture !

    1. Sky at | | Reply

That was in order to show off her fabulous legs.

Apart from Ktrina, all of ’em look striking!

Deepika & Priyanka the best!! The others look too stiff…shame about Sonams lackluster pose, she’s lovely otherwise…

Bad execution of what could have been a great idea!
I vote for neither .. thanks to the extreme photoshopping!!
They all appear to have the same figure and same skin tone which is so not true… Add to that the names that have been written in a font that looks like a 4 year old scribbling across the cover !!

The best part though … the SHOES .. all droolworthy.

too photoshopped! everyone looks the same!

What does it say of a countrys cultural outlook when all five women on their anniversary issue have lighter than light skin complexions. Simply put its unethical, frustrating and even embarrassing that their is an outright ignorance towards dark skin beauty when more than half of our population is darker skinned. It’s true that this kind of outlook exists in other communities such as African American but all their magazines embrace darker skin beauty all the time.
    Vogue India,SHAME ON YOU.

90% of our population is dark skinned.
We are not white. Deal with it. Embrace it.
      Vogue sucks.

what on earth did they do to sonam’s face?

  19. RUCHii at | | Reply

Poor Katrina’s white dress is lost in the white of the cover..
All of them are stunning ladies..even without the photoshop..but looks like that Vogue was not ‘inspired’ enough with their beauty!!

Kudos to Vogue for sourcing South Asian designers when they could have gone the western label route.
For photoshopping the heck out of those already gorgeous women, no kudos.

Rather wildly let down by the styling. Poor Anushka’s face! OMG!

I’m probably PC’s biggest fan, but I think all the covers were so lacking in styling. Sonam’s was the only one that even remotely brought it. Five covers was highly ambitious and it would have been great to see them pulling it off, but yeah, not quite there.

Two Bollywood Stars, Two former Catwalk Models, and One Girl with Beautiful Face playing dress-up. They all look nice. Too bad one desires so much more for from a purportedly trend-setting magazine cover. The images are so processed & ‘safe’ & predictable I almost sleepy now…zzzz

PC looks so much like Diana Penty here !! OMG, what pathetic photoshopping!!

It is to the credit of the actors who look GOOD in real life, that they make the covers look passable :)

  27. Ateen19 at | | Reply

Don’t they all look plastic-ey, almost like manikins! Such bad photoshopping to such beautiful ladies.

  28. SR at | | Reply

Even though the designers are of Indian origin, none of the gowns are unique (except for Manish Arora), maybe because these designers cater to the American market, not the Indian market (which is what Vogue India is supposed to cater to!). The styling is seriously vanilla.
