Clutch Spotting

Sticking to black like she mostly does, Karisma opted for a jumpsuit at Sanjay Kapoor’s at home bash. The pop of color came via her shoes and eye-makeup versus her clutch, a Givenchy.

You like her night-out look?

  1. Assuming that this pic was taken after the party, it MAY be okay to forgive the creased jumpsuit. Also, the length seems a little off too..
A ‘meh’ look considering its Karisma who always looks so chic and put together!
But the clutch is to-die-for! 😀

      • She has amazing shoulders but believe me they are not from workout but from her genes. I’m really liking this look..gives off an easy yet chic vibe.

  2. P and P,
Much as I like your blog and visit everyday, I’m thinking nowadays it’s not so much a killer stiletto High Heel as it is a Kolhapuri Wedge. Safe, no risk of twisting an ankle while carrying baby and diaper bag, un- snarky, no personality. Not you (I don’t know you), just your blog.
I do miss the side- helping of snide served up by the early you and the commenters. I want to come here and feel like I’m at drinks after work trashing the boss, not like I’m reading the Hindu newspaper 😉
    Sincerely,
    Longtime visitor

    • I completely agree. I’ve been visiting this blog daily for years. A few years ago, it did feel like an after work drink with friends. Now the tone of the blog has changed so much! It seems timid, politically correct at all times and afraid to cause offence.

      • P&P are famous now and have made friends with lots of celebrities. May be they don’t want to be mean to their celeb friends. I kid of course 😉

    • Agreed. Your “tadka laga ke” has been missing the tadka for a long time now. Also, while before this blog used to be about the fashion – anyone in noteworthy clothes on either end of the spectrum – I find that these days, the blog has just turned into a directory of public appearances by any tom dick or harry.

at the end of the day, it’s your blog and you can do whatever you like with it.

    • Perhaps P&P have grown out of their need for a bitchfest. This may be difficult for you to understand, but most people do get there some day you know……

A comment for you, tadka laga ke 😉

      • No one is asking for a bitchfest. What you seem to be describing is a general feeling of indifference towards superficial things that I presume comes with age. There’s nothing wrong with that, but surely it does not mean that you lose your ability to make a judgement on something and back it up. And if at all P&P have lost that drive, then why keep the blog.

Ask for a bit of tadka, and people think you want a bitchfest. Sheesh. P&P, just wanted to clear the air – if your blog is open to comments, then be prepared for criticism. It’s all good – the blog is your baby, do as you like.

      • Naah I don’t mean bitchy at all… there’s spades of that here already (ergo calling actresses trashy, slutty, whatever). I mean funny, sarcastic, Dorothy Parker-esque wit, or whoever said “Go to Heaven for the weather, but go to Hell for the company”.
And please… Nobody grows out of an afternoon laugh- heck, my 80 year old great-grandma used to pass snide ones at Madonna in the days when MTV still played music 🙂

    • I so agree. I’ve been a visitor since they started writing and this blog has kept me entertained as I went through med school and graduated! Thanks to PnP for that. But as they’ve become more popular their tone has become milder..boring. There are no Wtheyy posts anymore for the fear of being sued etc.. but I’ll take whatever I can get. Just not daily servings of Saas Bahu types.

  4. Karishma always keeps it classy! <3 I am happy she left 90's clothes in that era. A tip for few others who is still stuck in that one. And that jumpsuit would have looked so odd on anyone else (but of course, save Dia).

  5. I also love wearing black, but I think the accessories need to be a different colour. She could have chosen the colour of her eye shadow/shoes for the clutch to complete the look.
