  1. dont like – maybe nude pumps would have worked better. the ankle strap sandals and the short flare dress are making her look odd – like she’s too old for it or something

  2. I think she looks good. The dress is edgy (these type of baloon dresses are all over the place here in the US) and she pulls it off well. Kudos for wearing something different from others.

  3. I think its styled well on the model, with the waist coat and the bag, gives it a different look but on karishma it looks been there done that!! though the dress is nice if styled well!!

  4. I wonder what the dress code was? Most people turned up looking way too underdressed for a wedding. Even those who tend to be OTT most of the time..

  5. I agree with Pooja, the model is styled much better. The dress also seems to be a big too big (too balloony) on her like something you wear to hide a belly (especially with that weird slit down the middle). Shoes kind of look like stripper heels 🙂

  7. I don’t understand the black thing in the middle of the dress. It looks like the dress has been ripped apart.

Other than that Lolo looks fab as always.

BTW, what is up with all the casual wear? I really don’t get it.

  8. I’m guessing that the bride and groom decided on a more casual Catholic wedding, and perhaps are going to have a more traditional formal Indian wedding/reception. Amrita’s wedding dress, while very lovely, was quite simple, as was her husband’s choice of attire. My cousin had a summer beach wedding in Hawaii, and everyone dressed pretty similar to the guests at this wedding – light, floral summer dresses for the ladies and button-down shirts for the men. There seems to be a trend towards more casual weddings, to foster a sense of intimacy (I’m guessing) and closeness, rather than some grand affair.

Anyways, Karishma’s dress is definitely chic, and the bubble hem has been in vogue for a while now, but personally I can’t see it being flattering on anyone else.

  9. first questions, the names of bride and groom are hindi so why they had a catholic wedding? I hope the identity crisis had nothing to do with it, second Karisma, why o why, I was full of compliments every time I saw ur pic with your beautiful taste in cloths, the only thing that I could think of which can explain this disaster is that you are pregnant and had to wear it to hide the bump, tell me I am write, tell me u won’t wear any bubble with flowers that resmebles the Garden of Eaten for nothing

  10. she seems so self concious all the time, she should’ve at least covered up those scars with some foundation/concealer or whatever body makeup these guys use.

  11. I think this has been said before, but Amrita and Malaika’s mother is Catholic, which would explain a Catholic wedding. At first, I was confused because of their last name (Arora), but I’m assuming that’s their father, who is most likely Hindu. Anyways, a lot of white people have Indian weddings (most notably Heidi Klum and Seal), and usually have a horrible version of what they think is a traditional Hindu wedding. I’d say Amrita’s wedding appears to be quite tasteful!

  12. Hey P&P, do you know which designer shades Karishma is wearing? I have spotted these on several other celebrities as well……they look really nice! Thanks

  13. Love it, it’s very Sarah Jessica Parker. Will takes some years for some people to ‘accept’ this look. Love the shade and everything. Nothing wrong with her leg just that the photo was taken in real sunlight outside where there are shadow and not on a control environment like a stage.
