A Separate(s) Story

While on the sets of a television show to promote her upcoming movie, Kareena was photographed in a Namrata Joshipura top and a Zara Umrigar embellished pencil skirt. Side-swept hair and her trusty Saint Laurent Tribs finished out the look.

Ms. Kapoor looked good. (Though the skirt could’ve used a tug to straighten out the creases.)

    • Agreed. I am sure I have seen Madhuri in such separates but a world of difference between the two ladies. Madhuri always makes anything look 90’s tacky.

  1. I am somehow not liking any of Kareena’s promotion looks…I would have preferred a beige shirt over that skirt and some nude makeup…Somehow her make up is aging her a lot…

    • My exact thoughts. That black top and smokey make-up is really harsh on her. And yea, she seems to be just going through the motions in these appearances.

  2. It’s cute but I don’t think it’s worth writing home about. And agree re: the skirt creases. I wonder if it is a fit issue though. . .

  3. My God!!…so much pressure on these stars!!! No matter what they wear, how perfectly they dress up or think they dress up, there’s always scope for criticism . The downside of being in the glam world 🙂

  4. She has started looking older than she actually is lately.
This look is not working on her. She and Madhuri should refrain from wearing skirts, they do nothing for their body types. Instead, makes them look like desperate aunties.
Leave it to Priyanka, Deepika guys.

    • i’m baffled at the mention of kareena’s “body type” and that a pencil skirt may not look good on her?

      say WHAAAAAAAAAT?

the woman’s likely between a size 2 and 4 at best and if a pencil skirt can’t look good on her then that REALLY narrows the market

    • Also I don’t think there’s more than a 2 year difference between Kareena and Priyanka Chopra, no? where does the “Aunty” statement come in
I’m horrified to hear that because as someone just over 30 and definitely not with either of their figures I love wearing pencil skirts to work
By the way I HATE the word “Aunty” when used in a derogatory way. Wish it could be banned
