In Temperley

Kareena and Saif were the celebrity guests at the Kingfisher Derby on Sunday where the former was seen in a printed Temperley dress. I wish the maxi had the bird print all-over instead of that contrast daisy print at the bust.

Back to Kareena, I can see this look working at a brunch event but not sure if it fit right in at the races. After seeing Natasha (see next post), this look of Kareena felt a bit underwhelming.

  1. Definitely not event appropriate but I love the look on her! Also her hair color looks great on her, that’s coming from someone who’s not a big fan of such hair colors on desi women

    • +1. There are few desi celebs who can work hair colors and she is one of them. Also, her light skin tone makes the hair color work, that definitely matters I think.

      • Skin tone has nothing to do with hair color IMO.
It’s just that we are not accustomed to it. There are so many Latino, Black, Far-eastern women who color their hair any way they want and look incredible.

  2. Like the maxi. But dislike the hair color on her. It doesn’t suit her. Kareena and Katrina look good only in dark hair colors like black/dark brown even though they both have very fair skin.

  3. Though it might not have been event appropriate, I definitely think she looked quite nice in this look! This is probably the freshest I’ve seen her look in recent times.

  4. She is such a poser! Pouting, weird arm positions, body posture.. the list is endless.

Anyway she looks good. Agree that the dress isn’t event apt.

  5. She look regal. The body language in 3rd pic speaks more than any event appropriate fascinator.
I personally hate such prints and such cuts n patterns near boobs. But she is rocking every millimeter of this dress with élan.
    Love her hair as well.
The only tiny problem I have with this look is her choice of footwear.

  6. I think her dress is beautiful and interesting — the daisy print is a nice way of adding that interest. I think she nailed it, looking gorgeous. I disagree that it was not event appropriate. Nothing about her dress says, don’t-look-at-me!

  7. I thin the difference is what Bollywood thinks is derby dressing versus what it actually is. Love Kareena’s look, but Natasha is out of the ballpark!
