Kareena On Vogue: (Un)Covered

Hard as it is to believe, this is just Kareena’s third Vogue cover and one the comes after three long years. She wears Dior again, this time a black bustier and tulle skirt with a Philip Treacy top hat.

  1. Guys, not a fan of the hat (Love Philip Treacy’s work though) because it does not go with the rest, and it reminds me of Slash from Guns and Roses.

  2. BEST EVER Vogue cover yet from Kareena Kapoor Khan. Love the Philip Treacy hat, gives character to the entire look. Hope to see more hats and more variety in 2013!!

  3. love it!!!! i just love seeing kareena… in a film or even a cover.. she adds so much life.. we have enough dead pan models in bollywood.. kareena is such a blast of fresh air, reassuring you each time that there is still hope for Indian cinema because actresses like her and vidya balan still exist! sorry for ranting folks, but i just saw Race 2 😛

  4. Interesting cover…but there is something not working. I don’t like the hair or the lip color. Btw PnP the caption says Mohit & Udita at their wedding….

  6. I love how the indian Vogue covers have no inspiration, and are usually bland & ridiculously thrown together. Just like this one with my girl Kareena. She’s doing the Angelina Jolie leg, baring it and sticking it out. Not sure why that hat is there. Is she sitting on a Gumbadh?? The whole thing just fails for me. The only thing I’m happy about is that her face is still recognizable, without the botched photoshopping.

  7. For being the bible’ of fashion, as some call the Vogue- this just doesn’t cut it somehow. It’s meh, in a good way, but nothing that would make on one sit up and notice. I do, however, albeit tangential, love the recent film fare covers!( vids balance, anushka!!)

  8. @amrita don’t understand what you mean.
Surely we are all entitled to our opinion.
The pouting expression seems constipated to me.9
