It would actually look really nice if the kurta was shorter and different shoes, of course. but shorter kurta would have been miles better.

Did she shoot up 10 inches overnight and have her mom alter her clothes at 6 AM?

Good one! :) The orange patch looks like a really lazy after thought.

I like the top because it’s form fitting but the bottoms are ugly and look like eleastic granny pants.

i actually love the kameez and even the shoes…that’s how desi wear is…i would wear this…she looks kool and comfy.

I agree with you, but I can also say that if the orange patch wasn’t there on the kameez I would have loved it more, but I like the long length just wish it was all white or a smaller orange border like the sleeves have.
I would definetly dress like this, actually I do! :)
She looks stunning, love this simple look on kareena.

thxs i think the girls forget that ppl actually dress like this in real world…nd it looks beautiful…i know wat u mean about orange…but desi designers/tailors do this all the time we analyze it too much.

Does anyone else think Kareena’s makeup always makes her cheekbones a little too pronounced? Think Hanuman! And once you see it there’s no getting past it!

I second that! I can’t believe that is a ‘Manish Malhotra’ kurta..looks like something that I would easily find at a random street stall.

P&P, I’m curious: does this count as match much, or is it okay? I never seem to be able to figure out when it’s a match-much case. She’s matching the orange bangles to part of her kurta, and the turquoise ones to her necklace. Is that okay or too much?

Would have loved it if instead of orange patch, the churidar was orange. I like the sandals, they go very well with Indian wear. Love the chudiyaan.

Too gaudy, she has made it.
Digging the Kurta. She should have worn red churidar.
Neck piece could have been given a miss. That many bangles aint needed. Reduction would have helped.

And yes, elegant mojris would have gone well with the outfit.

She looks fresh and elegant as always. A rare bright spark in the Bollywood firmament of gaudy tack.
