Kangna on L’Officiel:(Un)Covered

At first glance, I had a Rachel Zoe ‘I Die‘ moment. Loved the pose and how dramatic the gown looks in motion. But on closer inspection, the ‘pained’ facial expression just seems out of place, especially since this is a Christmas issue.

  4. I did not recognize her even after I read the caption. The cover would be good for Halloween. The Ash cover for Elle is the perfect Christmas cover.

    • lol i agree… hahaha…!

Ya, pained expression and bad hair colour and extensions for a christmas issue are not nice at all.

But one questions, how come Indian mags have christmas issues and not DEEPAVALI ISSUES ?? Or do they ??

  5. plz dont Photoshop celebrities to an extent that we have to look at the covers twice to recognize them:(….the cover is gorgeous and the expressions are horrible.

  6. OMG! If someone put a gun to my head, asked me to guess who it was on the cover, I would have never guessed Kangna. Same with another cover earlier. Why is it that they are photoshopping them beyond recognition. I don’t get it!

  7. I’m sure there were pictures from the shoot where she was smiling. I wonder why they picked this one. Maybe a sarcastic disagreement of ‘Tis the season to be Jolly?’

  8. You can blame the photographer and editor for the facial expression. I’m sure there are other pictures in the shoot where she looks more like herself and has a better expression.

  9. Well it could have been a great cover if Kangana had given a cheery x-mas smile…alas this one is just a utter disappointment. I am surprised that the magazine editor despite the horrible picture decided to use it as a cover. Perhaps the editor may have thought amidst the flowy gown one would not notice how painstaken the cover girl looks. The gown looks fab though and the effect is equisite…Sigh !!!
