In Ulyana Sergeenko

Wearing a strapless Ulyana Sergeenko dress, Kangana picked up her Woman Of The Year award at the 2016 GQ Men Of The Year awards on Tuesday evening.

The dark lip against the light pink dress was expected but what we were surprised by was the two-toned hair. While we didn’t mind that, we did have an issue with the heels. Would’ve rather seen plain pumps with this look. With so much going on at the top, the bow-detailed footwear only drew eyes away from the dress.

  1. always wanted to know – how to do they keep the twin sisters from spilling out. What if they dropped something, and had to bend down to pick it up. Why is high-fashion so impractical?

  2. I loved every bit of it !!!!!!
Wow she surprised me .. Had to look twice to make out that it’s kangna
Very very 80’s playboy bunny !!
But she rocked it baby and plus I loved the shoes

  3. She’s trying way too hard with that cleavage which looks really ‘fake’. It’s a great dress though. Love the hair and makeup and those shoes are gorgeous.

  4. I saw this dress on a model on another sight and it’s safe to say kangana killed it !
The in your face cleavage , ridiculous two toned hair with the white washed make up and then the desperate posing all is on a different plane to a very feminine dress. Cleavage up she looks like someone from X men and down she looks like Mary poppins.

  5. I am not loving this look. She needed simpler shoes and lighter lip color. Also, am I the only one who thinks the fit at the bust is totally off? I am scared that the dress is going to slip any minute.

  6. I love the drama in this look, and she pulls off something so risque without looking uncomfortable…
The shoes could’ve been different yes, but it’s hardly a deal breaker.
I almost didn’t recognize her, in a good way. Want more of this from our ladies!

    • Exactly! I like the dress. Although the boobs popped out makes it look tacky… almost into vulgar territory, Kangana experiments and takes risks. And she has that confidence too. Among Indian celebs, only Kangana and Natasha Poonawala are really “Fashionable” and can pull off many looks with confidence. All others look conservative and they don’t have that body language and personality to carry such looks. Sonam to me looks girly and ethnic, she looks her best in soft looks.

      • True that, though but there have been some extremely quirky looks that Sonam pulled off in the past, which I absolutely loved as well.
I think what matters most is owning the look – and I don’t mean fierce poses and pouts, just the comfort level. Kangana here doesn’t seem even aware of what she’s wearing, I think that takes away some of the attention that would go to the ‘popping boobs’ otherwise. 🙂

  7. Wow, she looks amazing. To wear that to GQ Men Of The Year awards! Its fantastic that she does not give a hoot about conventions 🙂 And that footwear is the most appropriate one for that dress.

  8. A rare miss from Kangana.
The dress itself is so feminine and alluring, that the pumps, makeup, earrings and overly styled hair all seem superfluous.

  9. Dont’t know why ladies are going critical over boob show. To me, it is not looking cheap/tacky at all but yes, as someone mentioned bodice seems too tight to breathe comfortably. Its the makeup, specially the harsh lipcolour against the very feminine dress and two toned hair which ruins this look!

  10. What’s wrong with showing your breasts? Esp when one has great ones like her! I think it looks awesome. I mean, you people wouldn’t be able to look at high fashion cos there are boobs all over and that’s not even a topic of discussion. It’s about the dress and how well she wore it. And I think Kangna did pretty awesome.
