In Manish Malhotra Couture

For promotions of Katti Batti, Kangana and Imran are attending the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and on opening night Kangana was seen in a Manish Malhotra couture look straight off the runway.

Am a bit on the fence over whether she should’ve also worn the bolero. When I imagine the look without the bolero, it feels more of a winner. What say you?

  1. STunning, wouldnt change a thing! I think the Bolero adds an interesting angle to the whole look, which might border over same ol red carpety otherwise…
This womans sartorial choices are so spot on and she works it like crazy!

  2. The bolero makes the look for me. Without it it’s an average big dress
The bolero makes me look twice
And the way she wears it just slight away from the strap of the dress makes it look oh so cool
Plus it’s season appropriate! So double thumbs up

  3. Wow. She looks stunning and I don’t mind the Bolero at all..it adds some visual interest and is perhaps keeping the lady warm.

P&P – You must must do a separate post on Imran Khan’s various looks during these promotions..all his looks have been outstanding and interesting!

  4. The dress is ugly. The bolero adds some visual interest to the bland gown but also lends a casual vibe to the look which shouldn’t be present for a red carpet event, IMO. Her airport and promotional looks are so good! But in big ticket events or high profile parties, she always falters. I am not saying her outfits are bad, they are nice but not as amazing as the looks she puts together when the events are smaller.

She under-dresses for big events, usually and slightly overdresses for smaller events. Obviously to stand out in the crowd of same old cookie-cutter style of celebs but i just wish she starts sporting more event appropriate looks.

  5. Stunning!!! That bolero works perfectly for the winter look considering it’s winter down under. This is style and practicality in sync.

  6. Whenever I look at her, all I feel is she is this fierce personality packed in such a fragile frame. She makes all of her attires work with that unfettered ilk. And that is what is happening here as well. The biggest plus point is – how beautifully her hair (colour & texture) is complementing the colour of the dress. The bolero is adding a beautiful edge to the outfit, without which it would have been just another gown! Only seldom does sparkly stuff enhances the beauty of an otherwise solid coloured gown.. here it is doing the job. Infact, on another note, her hair wouldn’t complement the dress so much had the bolero been not there. I actually love the gown very very much!!

  7. Waist up she looks gorgeous , the length of the dress if shorter would hv gone wit her look …..
Alternatively if she was looking at a more dramatic look the styling could have been more glam
