Shimmer And Shine

At the film festival, the ladies shimmered and how. Between Kalyani in her Anamika Khanna lehenga and Tabu in her Abu-Sandeep sari, it was easy to pick the former.

i feel tabu looks way better……she makes even abu – sandeep look good.

  2. Sal(SS) says:

I actually think Tabu wins this one. Love Kalyani’s kehnga, but Tabi is working that saree like nobody’s business. She’s totally bringing movie-star realness with the great hair and all that shimmer.

  3. Nisha B says:

I’m having crush on Tabu after watching Life of Pi..This woman doesn’t age eh??I think she’s looking better than Kalyani, not many people can pull off shimmery outfits..

  4. Paroma says:

Love Kalyani’s outfit. Tabu’s is too grey for me (although she does look good nevertheless).

  5. P says:

Tabu looks so much better. That anamika khanna lehenga is not doing the pretty ms Chawla any favours.

  6. sunray says:

    Tabu for sure

  7. Srilalitha says:

Kalyani looks great – but Tabu is totally owing it… for the event – tribute to Hindi cinema – she did that shine with such class… 10/10

  8. MP says:

I wonder is P&P’s comment was based on Tabu’s blouse, which I can’t see. Tabu looks LOVELY though – the hair, the saree, the face :-)
Kalyani’s saree is a little weird – the net clashes with the stitches on the underlay, making the effect very sloppy.

  9. Saadia says:

Tabu looks gorgeous, she definitely wins this one

  10. SLC says:

Not a fan of either outfits, but Tabu looks good with her minimalistic approach. I still think celebraties are wearing Abu-Sandeep to torment me!

  11. aarti says:

Tabu’s awesomeness makes everything look awesome on her…even no blouse :P

  12. I don’t care for Kalyani’s watch and bag with that particular lehenga. Tabu, on the other hand, rocks even that eyesore. Sistah’s got ‘it’, for sure.

  13. payal says:

1st outfit makes the girl look shapeless-looks like someone wrapped her in a curtain. 2nd girl–glamazon!

  14. Lalitha says:

I love Tabu but this is a ghastly sari. Now onto Kalyani, why has she chosen the tiny Lady Dior with her lehenga: it looks totally out of place…a lovely batua would have been a better choice but I guess she had to have something from Dior given her role….still she could have chosen something better from the brand’s offerings. I like the nude/grey/silver/barely there colour palette of the lehenga but why has the dupatta been draped so badly? As the whole outfit is in mild colour tones, I wish she’d worn a more vibrant lip colour.

  15. sana says:

both are very ordinary! ugly outfits both.

  16. Mal says:

Wooooo killing it Tabu! She’s the coolest, her stature and elegance (arrogance?) mean she can pull nearly anything off.
