Bagwati Spotting

The TODs D bag has many fans in real life. That extended to reel life too in ZNMD where Kalki’s character (a loaded interior designer) was spotted with a navy version of it.

But, that wasn’t it! Also featuring (in a big role) was an ostrich Hermès Kelly (aka Bagwati!), the whole premise of which had us cracking up.

Also, spotted a Manish Arora tote on Katrina’s character (a fashion student/scuba instructor). Gots to say, both ladies’ characters were styled well with bags that suited the on-screen persona.

P.S. That’s a Chanel white jacket on Kalki in that frame.

  1. Heyy, was going to email you guys to do a bagwati post! Didn’t you just love ‘her’ scarf and sunnies styled by Imraan (Farhan) :))

  2. Loved the film, and the “character” of Bagwati was just priceless! Great repartee with Farhan’s character and some cool onscreen product placement! Seriously, the look of the entire movie was fabulous – locations and scenery, guys, cars and clothes. Kalki did Chanel very well.

  4. P&P! Omg. Did you guys notice how in the credits they credited ‘Bagwati’ by saying it was from Hermez. That’s right they used a Z. What a shame!
But Kalki looked phenom. Too bad she doesn’t look like that in real life.

    • Looked like a French Connection dress I once saw but that one was not as expensive (I mean compared to Bhagwati and Chanel) so not sure if they paid much more for the same dress but bigger brand.

  6. The movie’s styling was really good, but thought the ‘bagwati’ joke was really really lame, and stretched on for too long. In the end, the character didnt even seem that thrilled to have recieved it!
