The dress has such a 60s Hollywood vibe… Me loves. Not underwhelmed at all. Shoes should have been more fun.

It’s supposed to be like MM’s Seven Year Itch dress but in the brand’s colour. She even posed with a fan underneath it at the event!
There’s nothing underwhelming about it to me. I think Swapnil Shinde did a great job with the brief he was given, it’s a perfect homage and Kalki wears it beautifully.

The colour looks lovely on her.

There was a very similar dress back in 2007 when HHC had just started. Everyone was wearing the same dress in different colours: Karisma, Gauri Khan, Gauhar Khan, Soha, and Aishwayra was in the same colour even. :-)

As a publicist it’s my job to mention here that swapnil has to follow briefs given by the agency!

I think you guys need to be more specific when you say something is “underwhelming”.
This dress is beautiful, classic, well-tailored, and makes her look uber feminine and pretty. That’s a win in my opinion.

Simply flawless and memorable too. And what a gorgeous woman Kalki is at all times. She’s fully channeling Marilyn.
