  1. kalki is not, in the conventional sense, a beautiful woman, but I find her so attractive and chic. I wish I could read French, the article seems really interesting.

    • It’s too long for me to translate in a comment. But what is striking is that she is considered a french actress and the fact that they cannot get over stereotypical presentation!
“The little girl grew up like a Kipling heroine between elephants and leopards.”

  3. Love the spread and all the shots in it. The one where she is in Chanel is right up her alley and her comfort level in the shot translates into a darn good picture.
Her dad( if that is him) reminds me of Antony Kiedis (of Red Hot Chilli Peppers fame).

  5. She is definitely not a conventional beauty but in the article they really treat her as if she was the most gorgeous girl in India and other actresses are just dumb bimbos. She is a fantastic actress but I hate how this article is juste built on stereotypes. The journalist probably saw one stupid masala and is quite condescending towards bollywood or Indian cinema in general.
