kalki is not, in the conventional sense, a beautiful woman, but I find her so attractive and chic. I wish I could read French, the article seems really interesting.

It’s too long for me to translate in a comment. But what is striking is that she is considered a french actress and the fact that they cannot get over stereotypical presentation!

As a child she was blonde. Has she coloured her hair dark?

No. With age, blonde tends to turn to brunette. Which why is you will be hard pressed to see any blonde old people. GAH.

Yes, but she has dyed it dark. 6 months ago it was lighter and you can see from her roots that she’s naturally lighter than her present colour.

She may have, for bollywood. Such a beautiful girl, in a very real way.

love this actress & how she strikes a pose – nice shots! she can make the conventionally considered good looking actresses pale in comparison with her persona & fab attitude!

The Sabyasachi shot is my favorite. Absolutely stunning!

Love the spread and all the shots in it. The one where she is in Chanel is right up her alley and her comfort level in the shot translates into a darn good picture.
Her dad( if that is him) reminds me of Antony Kiedis (of Red Hot Chilli Peppers fame).

A cross between Bugs Bunny and Julia Roberts, that’s what I always thought of her smile too!!

Yes, not a conventionally beauty in desi terms. :P How darn good she looks in the photo shoots. <3 And aw such a cute baby she was.

She is definitely not a conventional beauty but in the article they really treat her as if she was the most gorgeous girl in India and other actresses are just dumb bimbos. She is a fantastic actress but I hate how this article is juste built on stereotypes. The journalist probably saw one stupid masala and is quite condescending towards bollywood or Indian cinema in general.
