I cant help but feel that this will condone the idea of an ideal body being excessively skinny (which I believe is rising in India- I don’t live there but my cousins tell me so).

LOVE! If someone can rock the twiggy cut & style, it´s KAlki. She has the spunk for it. She is so original!

of course twiggy inspired, she looks great, she makes the cover work. i had written on Kalki’s page on this site once about how i wanted to see her in some vintage photoshoot. Here’s a part of how it.

Love the cover, Kalki looks fab.
But somehow feel Femina covers show a lack of consistency and are frequently at odds with the magazine’s ethos. Maybe because one thinks of it as an older woman’s magazine.

Channeling her inner “daayan” I see…not a believer that high fashion has to be awkward poses and bones.

the angle of the neck makes it seem like she can rotate her head 360 degrees! weird, no like!

I quite agree with your observation.
