The pants are badly tailored. Even if they woulda been ironed it would have elevated the look.

    What was she thinking??!! :-o

More than anything else I am amused how the “stay at home” beauty treatment has worked wonders for her face but not the arms. That rate if she “stays at home” more she will have Blue eyes soon and look like a original “fake” Caucasian. Kudos.

Bahahahaha! Best comment. And then we keep saying saying that dark is beautiful when all the these celebs promote fairness creams and show up with white washing in their outings. :’) I am positive even Caucasians don’t look this “pink”. :P

!??? Some comments on here just make me cringe for the sheer absurdity.

      Miao! (but so true!)

WTHeyy!! Unflattering beyond belief, how did she step out of the house looking like that?! This is the worst tailored suit I’ve ever seen on a celebrity.

  5. Violet at | | Reply

This look is so unflattering. The pants look so shapeless and badly fitted. Perhaps a slick ponytail could’ve helped make this look appear less messy. She needs to stop trying to look so desperately diff outside her comfort zone.

Who designs a lace pantsuit? Who actually wears one? #facepalm

    Dear Kajol,
Please dress like yourself again. And stop the whitewashing.
Kid who grew up watching you and realised that dark goes with beautiful too

i think its a good concept went wrong! if only pants were tailored well and were a tad bit longer, she would have looked beautiful! still kudos to her for taking the risk and not resorting to usual gowns and anarkalis!

    1. Prep-y at | | Reply

Yeah I agree. Some concepts look good on paper. The overall look comes out being very garish. Especially, because a pair of golden shoes got added to it.

    Nice !!

  11. Neha Srivastava at | | Reply

Golden shoes are not going with yr dress !!!

My god, this makes her look tubby. What was she thinking? Probably wasn’t but she looks rather pleased. Someone give her a mirror already. Awful.

  13. Fergie at | | Reply

Ouch for the outfit! And her discomfort shows in the awkward posture, almost as if she is going to fall on her face.

  14. Paddy at | | Reply

Why is her skin tone getting lighter? She is naturally dusky.

i will turn blind with all that glitter… she looks like an overdressed elephant… too much matchy matchy

    1. Adara at | | Reply

Haha. I just love some of the comments out here. :’)

  16. Kritcee at | | Reply

With all these glitter, If I really HAVE to wear this pantsuit, I would have gone with a nice matte grey clutch and a grey peep toe pumps.
But that aside, I like her a lot.

  17. kretya at | | Reply

i like the make up. the straight hair do… But its a match much for me… better fit … basic nudes and a nude clutch would have been a better choice..

  18. Food Poisoned Attorney at | | Reply

That suit makes her look bulky! Its not for her body type, not working at all.

  19. Asha at | | Reply

This is so bad, I am speechless.

  20. MachineGunMeow at | | Reply

Gold, silver sparkles AND lace. Poor thing.
This suit just makes her look like a house thanks to the poor tailoring. Her face though :)

  21. monika at | | Reply

    Wrong at all levels!

  22. Bharati at | | Reply

Suits are all about the cut. Designers takes years to perfect it. Just because you have nice material leftover from your saree anarkali designs you can’t make a suit out of it, make a cushion cover next time.

  23. Adara at | | Reply

This all kinds of fulgy. But you got to give it to her for stepping out of the house like that and still hold a smile.

  24. Neharika at | | Reply

Kajol, parineeti and madhuri are all trying to be something that they are not and come up with clownish looks like this one . Why such desperate attempts to look ridiculous. I have so much respect for vidya balan . She might not have a fashion sense but atleast she is not ridiculing herself with such inane attempts

Someone took a cue from sound of music and decided to make clothes from curtains, didn’t they?

    1. eclat at | | Reply

      *Gone With the Wind?

      1. pp at | | Reply

sound of music too, the dresses the kids wear in the song “doe a deer”

  26. from-chitown at | | Reply

How did she think it was good idea to be covered in shiny lace from head to toe and as if that was not enough, she wore multiple layers of it. She was doing so well in between… she had found her ‘look’… but of late, she has lost the fashion mojo.

  27. AA at | | Reply

Kajol’s real life transformation is like her reel-life story in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. In the movie as in real life, she wore what she wanted until she realized to really get in the game she needs to start dressing better. Except in that, the movie had her wear pretty clothes that suited her and real life has not been so kind :)

  28. SS at | | Reply

It’s hard to believe that with all that she has access to, THIS is what she decides to wear. Preposterous…I am sure curtains are missing on some windows… somewhere… :(

  29. Fff at | | Reply

There is something really off with her expressions , the more normal looking poses have been posted here. Is she trying to spoof the whole fashion thing

  30. Jiminywiminy at | | Reply

The whole silhoutte is wrong for her body type. Badly tailored pants and a blazer that ends at the widest part. Not the most flattering look.

  31. Tania at | | Reply

Getting a strong Simi Garewal vibe from this pant suit. Not working on Kajol..

  32. Robert at | | Reply

Those pants make her legs look stumpy.

  33. Amodini at | | Reply

Lace pantsuit – that’s an oxymoron right there.
Too ghastly for words. She apparently doesn’t possess a mirror.

  34. Shweta at | | Reply

Too much of gold and silver in this look. This suit also makes her look bigger. On someone taller and thinner like Deepika, it might have worked. That said, great to see that she is experimenting with different kinds of clothes ..

  35. ajeeta at | | Reply

Oh My Goodness!!! this is actually funny!!! :) I generally cringe when I see a look gone bad but somehow, I find this quite amusing.

  36. Ranij at | | Reply

A pant suit should fit perfect and this one is a disaster making her look sizes bigger than she probably is!

  37. sonal at | | Reply

this material would have made a great dress/maxi.. why make a pant suit which is meant to look structured..

    Dear kajol,
I took ur advice , left my job and went and stayed for nearly a year now with my husband not even in India but Europe but alas Iam still BROWN

I dont why no one has pointed out buti personally think Shehla Khan is one over rated, over hyped “designer”. Honestly she cones acrosss as one of those ppl who were bored had nothing else to do so turned inro a designer…And with Sonam as her friend, she was promoted…
