    • I know much has been said about UN this and UN that. But she’s an actress, chrissakes. She has not be been called to the UN for her giant contribution to reducing the carbon footprint of the Indian film industry or her work in peacekeeping mission in Sierra Leone or preserving biodiversity in the Amazonian Rainforests. She there as a popular and dare I say it, pretty face from the biggest film industry. She’s an actress and an Indian and live with it, we dress blingy. We always see African in their traditional finery, headgear and all or Westerners in their greys and blues- no ones complaining? Lest someone accuse me of being a cog in Kajol’s PR machinery, I’m not. I don’t particularly like her sartorial choices, but I love it that she is dressing Indian and going the whole hog, Chaabi challa, rings and all.

  1. Just one correction. Kajol is at UN yes but she is there for Unilever. It’s not a do good mission. Also the reason HHC is covering each and every appearance.

People aren’t objecting to Indian dress. Truthfully she is an ordinary dresser. Not good, not bad. If she wasn’t an actress on a multinational promotion and wearing brands that want to market she wouldn’t be on anyone’s fashion blog.
