While neither look that we saw Juhi in got us excited, the Neeta Lulla suit ( on the right ) was more welcome than the busy blue top with the gold churidaars look. We’re not asking Ms. Chawla to pull a 180 on us but she could at least try staying away from materials and prints that do nothing for her.

  1. Juhi (and this applies to Amala too) in her not-so-young years appears so disarmingly charming that I couldn’t care less about how she chooses to dress herself up. In fact, I like how she’s so matter of fact of about not being that young and seems to have moved on to other things in life beyond personal vanity and the need for approval from the audience. Not many actors or actresses can manage that- most stay in denial and want to be the center of attention.

  2. totally agree with Sev above about Juhi just being true to herself and her style aesthetic and not subscribing to a particular ‘designer’. It is really refreshing to see someone just being themselves in Bollywood.

  3. She is a lovely lady. One would think that she would have developed a personal style by now but she seems to flit between blingy & overwhelming…and the footwear leaves a lot to be desired. Still, she is lovely and nothing can change that!

  4. Agree with everyone here about how she’s just comfortable in what she wears and has that charming smile. But throw away those wierd wedges-sandals types and drape a nice sabya or any other pleasing saree , and voila! you have a well dressed celeb there! She could do that once in a while
