Ramp Style
October 24th, 2009 at 3:50 pm . by PayalAshima Leena’s collection “Go Green, Go Delhi, Go Haute” had actress/politican Jaya Prada as a showstopper as well as former cricketer Kapil Dev and chess player Tania Sachdev. While the latter two wore more low key outfits from the designer duo’s collection (although I think Kapil just wore his own stuff), Jaya was given an OTT floral ugly mess to walk down the ramp in, complete with floral footwear and floral hair accessories. We understand she was trying to get a message across but did she really have to wear THAT!

When one is ready to make fool of themselves people can always help a little!
:D :D
Man! What the … is that? Good god, i thought there was a bird on the ramp at first glance!
Who qualifies all these useless people for Fashion Weeks.. it casts such a disgrace upon these fashion weeks..
The majority of these guys in the Indian Fashion indusry are starry eyed, naive idiots… atendees and participants.
Ridiculous!
As awful, horrible as Jayaprada’s outfit is, I like her attitude, and that she was having fun. Her face looks so beautiful, despite the hair and the rest of the mess. Maybe someone will give her a better outfit next time.
GOOD GOD! can you as a showstopper not put your foot down and say no way in hell am I wearing that????
and she smiles ???? howww ????
This looks like the outcome of one of those “ake it yourself with things at home” shows. Atleast she looks like she is having a great time!
what’s missing is Jeetendra and a song with lots of drum beats; then that floral ensemble will actually be very appropriate!!
That outfit they gave poor Jaya to wear looks like something out of the Madwoman of Chaillot. Not fair at all.
jaya and tania actually have pretty faces. and tania has a good body too. the less said about the clothes the better.
Oh my eyes, please help…. its a burst of flowers and color. A chalta firta bagicha in the form of Jaya Prada. Why would one make a fool of themselves…. probably to get publicity?
Kapil looks good….
Pray, someone tell me, what message is Jaya trying to get across with that crappy dress?
jaya prada’s outfit!! had a good laugh…
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha……………
WHat the hell is that thing they’ve put Jaya into… !!
I soooo agree with that chalta-firta garden comment……..
And Ashima Leena would be too …(”whatever” ..can’t find the right word) to think that people would buy their clothes seeing THAT…
All you friends in the US.. that’s such an innovative idea for Halloween .. what say??
She looks like a Scare Crow…ahhahahahahahh!
eeuuu… jaya prada’s dress is soooo fugly. if only the designer realized that going green was a noble message, and so one has to stick to noble looking clothing.
The dupatta type thing is the worst bunch of tatters put together. and i hope in the process of showcasing for an environmental issue, no birds have been hurt.
jaya prada?!?! WHAT THE HEYYYYYYY?!???! it sucks that she has “prada” as a part of her name! at least live up to it! tsk tsk
