obviously she going to simple, do you expect her to wear a high-waisted skirt and dressy blouse with Jimmy Choos

Yaya – simple = understated, easy, effortless, plain. Dressy = fussy, took time to put together, effort

Simple does not equal a sari and dressy does not equal western wear. So just because her outfit is described as simple it doesn’t mean it’s “obvious” because you don’t think she can wear western wear and therefore in your opinion be dressy. There is such a thing as a dressy sari and a simple sari/indian outfit.

YAYA–also sometimes Jaya over does things when she dress…example the weird ensemble she had one at Cannes this year…so this is definitely a nice change.

Wow. She is so good looking here. Wish she gives herself this treatment everytime. (dressing well treatment). And also who is she lugging along?

I really like the material – just bought a sari like that for my Mom but Jaya’s fabric is even lighter. Nice necklace as well. Would have liked a more interesting blouse, but she looks sweet and dignified here overall. What’s with the Bacchan’s all wearing these oversized rings – she’s sporting a big red one too.
