November 4th, 2012 at 3:37 pm . by PayalSridevi attended the Nandita Mahtani show at Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2012 with both her daughters but what caught our attention was not that Mommy was wearing a Nandita Mahtani maxi but that Jahnvi was also wearing one.
While Jahnavi kept her look simple pairing the nude studded dress with red Choo glitter clutch and pumps, Sridevi accessorized her maxi with a McQueen skull clasp clutch and diamond jewellery. She should’ve skipped either on the necklace or the earrings. Both together overwhelmed the look.

Is it just me or should we not be discussing the ‘style’ of a 15 yr old…it’s bad enough that her mother has been thrusting her at us in age inappropriate clothes (not in this instance) since she was 13 or so !!
I agree, Sri looks good, but enough of having her daughter attend every event, dressed like a +20 year old with loads of make up. There is a time for everything.
I know what you mean. Can’t believe that girl is just 15 years old! My mother would have never let me step out of the house in such a short, strapless dress at that age. Make me wonder if this is the norm for most 15 year old girls in India?
If you think 15 year olds don’t dress like this in India, you are in for a BIG SHOCK when you find out what Indian teenager dresses like today.

I beg to differ, given the dress does not have any design, the jewelry pieces seem appropriate…they both look lovely.

Too many accessories on Sridevi and the clutch though very nice in itself is too much of a mismatch..bit disturbing to see a 15 year old dress like an 18 year old

Didn’t Bipasha wear the same dress as Jahnvi sometime back??But then again comparing a child with an adult will be ridiculous..Jahnvi, you have a long way to go..hit the books for now, maybe?

Loved the mehndi and loved Jhanvi’s looks and styling.
But fo rthe first time I didnt like a Sri sighting :( The color and the gown styling, and the garish accessories (jewels and the ugly clutch) made me go Oh No, with genuine concern as her mis step.
She is getting into the grey territory of trying too hard — hope she goes back to her classic age appropriate styles until recent times. Please, “PRETTY” please, pun intended!

Sridevi looks so refreshing in this look…the colour , the hair n the jewellery all work…..there is an unmistakable fun element…n in case of Jhanvi…..cz 4m the generation that idolises Gossip girl
