The Newly Wed
You might think that this is a photo post Isha and Timmy’s church wedding. Well, that’s what I thought seeing Timmy wear that suit with a white piping (looked like he had another one-strand pearl necklace on) and Isha wear that all-white gown by Neeta Lulla.
But it isn’t. The new bride wore white to the relaunch party of hubby Timmy’s club ‘3 Flights Up’. They are such a cute pair but wear such dowdy outfits.

urgh!the idea of wearing a full SET with a gown is bead enough…the gown is equally horrifying!
agree with p and p. sweet couple with a ghastlly taste in clothes. all that money gone to waste.
Doesn’t Isha’s gown somehow remind you of Mahatma Gandhi? Neeta made a beautiful gown then wrapped Gandhi style satin dhoti around it to spoil it.
And don’t get me started on those bangles and Timmy’s love for piping on the suit!!
those Bangles are part of Punjabi wedding.. its called “chura” , punjabi brides r supposed to wear them without taking them out for quite sometime after wedding…
Neeta Lulla and Gauri and Nainika’s western outfit showrooms should be destroyed…they call themselves designers? Soooo GAWDY!!! seems like the silky wrap around was added as an afterthought to give it a mermaid hem…and then she thought…o well…I can use up the remainder of the cloth as a belt too…Esha’s jewellery is the only saving grace…and Timmy needs to stop his obsession with suits with colored piping…he could have worn a white tee instead…
What’s with all the bangles Isha’s wearing with a western dress?! Doesn’t look good at all!
Also I agree, Isha and Timmy make such a good looking couple with very blah taste in fashion.
those are choodhas, which every punjabi bride wears immediately after the marriage.
They look like “choora”, the Indian bangles brides wear. You’re supposed to wear them for awhile, even after your wedding.
me liking to see many punjabis here π
lol.. me too but chooda with a dress is a big NO!!
this is so similar to the Manav Gangwani green gown worn by Ayesha Thapar At Shilpa And Rajβs Reception… no creativity.
Not a good look for the newly weds…
looks like timmy’s wearing pipings of all colors matching his new bride’s ensemble……hes already hen pecked!!!!!! hehehehheehhehe
If you take away the necklace, bangles and layer of satin at the bottom…she’d look pretty fab IMO.
So, basically, she should take it ALL off, right π
agree…but also remove the satin from the hips!!
i think it’s unfair to fault her for the bangles…they’re the wedding bangles and many people don’t believe in taking them off for a few days at least
anyway it doesnt matter cuz everything else is pretty much a disaster anyway π
the bangles dun go well with the dress. the white piping is just weird…the dress is ugly…waste of cloth…too bad …
To all those ppl who commented on the bangles, please note that the bangles she is wearing are not ordinary bangles, they are called “chooda” and are worn by punjabi women as a sign of martimony, similar to mangalsutra’s being worn by women of other regions/ communities as well… a newly wed bride has to wear them for 10-12 days (minimum) post her wedding…
Wish she could have worn a sari.. then the jewellery would not clash so much !
What a horrid gown π . Re the bangles, these have to be worn for at least 40 days according to custom
Timmy gave a bulk order to his tailor it seems and told him to put pipings of every color. Cheap!
I have to agree with that one! Whats with the ugly piping on every suit? I’m sure he can do much better with all the money he’s got.
Somehow I feel that all-white gowns should be only reserved for the brides. Besides the color the gown doesn’t fare any better….looks like a mishmash of different pieces of cloths stiched together.
I think she wore the set to match the bangles but the earings should have been enough.. and I seriously want to pull that thing wrapped around her in full bollywood sari rape mode..
mummy girl
I like the wedding dress.
Beautiful dresses
isha always wear those bangles
makes the arms look thinner, nah?
