Phulkari dupattas worn with a plain salwar-kurta look amazing. Without the extra arm and neck embellishments even this would have looked very nice.

As for the bindi, it is Ila’s personal style and looks fabulous on her. How sad that traditional style elements have now been relegated to soap star territory.

Lol! This outfit reminds me of how some clothes with have a really wacky print sewn in on the underside of the really nice print, and how there people think “oh it’s reversible! I can wear it TWOOO ways!” when in fact, you cannot.

Hi payal ,the second messy kurta is not print but embroidery-Phulkari from punjab mostly used for dupattas.
But I agree the embroidered fabric could have had better uses.
