    • Déjà vu! Haven’t we seen the same kind of fabric and silhouettes from him? Moody or cheery, except two others look so same ol same ol. Boring is the right word.

      • Agree, really dislike. Primarily because of high expectations from Sabya – its a case of been there seen that. Also, can we please step away from monochromes… other than the “red” outfits, the rest seem regurgitated versions of previous collections.

  3. Each of Sabya Collection is Masterstroke. From last few seasons, we can notice that each of his new collection has mark from his previous one.

  5. Love the dark, gothic mood. They transpose you to a different setting…The scale like details in some of them are interesting but I’m still not sold on the capes.

  6. I have a bit of a crush on Sabyasachi, so normally he doesn’t do much wrong. But this time, while I appreciate all that gorgeous work in these outfits, I must say I am so tired of ‘net’ fabrics. And there’s just so much of it in the women’s collections. I suppose if you wear each piece as a separate it won’t be so overbearing. I must say that shade of red is so rich, love! I’m kinda falling for the menswear.

  7. While some pieces are striking, is there a different way to say “same old, same old”! But I guess there’s this to be said that he has his signature imprint on our collective consciousness, and that’s more than can be said for most of his contemporary designers, so, good for him!

  8. It is insanely amazing how every single collection of his looks exactly the same, and no editor, journalist seem to comment anything negative on it. nobody realises this how stupid the indian fashion industry is.

  9. Are we missing something here? The Sabya Hate camp does its best. Was going through other collections and people were raving about normal and done to death capes and same old embroidery and no one can say a single word on how intricate and detailed these looks are. One may not like monochromatic looks that is understandable and fair but to say lack of imagination certainly not. Pull out the pieces and layers and see for yourself. The cape, the jacket, every single detail. Someone mentioned above how Indian fashion industry is stupid to not call him out, Really. Indian fashion industry has a dedicated Sabya haters, who will do any thing to bring the man down.

  10. Who r saying Indian fashion industry…idiotic & stupid !! I mean seriously!! All leading stylists and editors are idiots & instead of promoting Indian talents, they only have to opt for western designes & designers! Of them many has their signature styles & same old type collections!!Some Indians!! Still couldn’t help themselves but to follow western things blindly!!
