Looks like Dhruv Kapoor was “inspored” by the boubou, the flowy women’s garment worn in Sénégal and other parts of West Africa.
I have seen many West African women wear it and each one of them looks better than Qureshi. She just looks foolish.

more than the dress its the belt.. awkward plasticky looking..a thinner tan/brown would be better.

The look could have been somewhat salvaged if it did not have that belt, the collar and the stripes. But then it wouldn’t be designer and then why would would any celebrity wear it?
