i agree with the first comment – this is definitely a cheap looking pickup from edison in nj. i mean…. seriously, heidi usually has good taste, but WHAT happened here? seal looks pretty good in a sherwani, though!!!

These clothes look more “Picked up from back up dancers of bollywood” than anything else.
I have seen quiet a few skinny american women pull off sarees, lehengas and other indian outfits in my cousin’s weddings. This is just something they threw together and think Indian outfit means, gaudy colors and too much in your eye. c

Western women just cant carry off saris. They dont have the apsara hips and chest to make draped clothes look ok.

I agree with Hare Krishna comment. I think among the non-desis only Liz Hurley carries off the saree well.
On a different note – I don’t care whether they picked them from a jersey store or a designer – as long as it looks good and is well constructed is my sole criteria just like in wines the only test that matters is the yuck test and the blind tastings.
