This is THE Gloria Steinem. You better not PnP :P. Love the women, there is a dearth of her breed now esp here in US.

what a lady- what a fantastic, super-duper icon of a lady!! To my mind, she changed the landscape of women’s rights- that word she coined “reproductive freedom”- probably changed even women’s expectation of what they could expect from life:)
    *Ok- soapbox adulation over*
she looks gorgeous and so comfortable in that sari!! …btw, she’s 80 plus something!

This could well be a shout out to Indian women who in the past year have changed politics and legislation and set a precedent around the world. High fashion is all about context. And she looks damn good for 80!

She’s looking great, love her. And I like how the casual-messy look which she’s sporting works so well at 80-odd. Indian women should learn a bit from her.

Learn what exactly? Not dissing her but I just want to know what it is that you think Indian women lack that she has.

Its SO pleasant to see a non-Indian women wear the saree without the unconsciously made boob show. She wears it elegantly.
