Genelia On Vogue India: (Un)Covered
Genelia graces the Dec issue of Vogue India wearing a black version of the crochet dress we’ve already seen on Kangna. On her, the dress has a more edgy effect by way of the studded belt, gloves and the silver pumps. Except, the open mouth pose give the look an odd effect. We are missing a mic, folks.

shes got some LEGS!!
OMG she could totally pass for Sonali Kulkarni on the cover!
So totally agree..she looks like soinali kulkarni
Yeah, i noticed the resemblance from her first movie Boys. But she is def a prettier and slimmer version of Ms.Kulkarni.
she can so carry off the rocker chic look.. loved her in boyz!
On the cover, her hair looks like a badly fitted wig. Love the rest of the editorial!
i agree.. on the cover, i hate her hair. She is so cute and in the cover she looks dumb with the open mouth and unnatural smile.
Also dint get the pic where she is on the right and a guitarist on the left.. seems 2 different pics merged together.
the rest, i like.
And the photog’s mighty worried about Miss. Genelia’s outfit/pose it looks like. 😛
the cover shot is so photoshopped! it almost have a not so real all glowy aura around it:|
looks not bad, but slightly on the ‘forced’ category. The second pik i think looks abit cheap and too forced, but Genilia does look nice though!:)
Vogue in india is NOT VOGUE!
I wholeheartedly concur.
This has to be one of the worst Vogue editorials and cover ever (and theres been some tough competition) The trashy poses (why is her mouth wide open?), the legs, the disjointed clothes. Infact, that Cavalli shirt reminds me of Sonam’s Vogue cover – from the beginning of the year. Surely, the least we can expect from Vogue, if not inspiration, style, vision – is the latest in fashion??
Also – I don’t understand why Genelia is a covergirl.
Agree completely. Uninspired, unimaginative, and unbearable (ok that’s just for added effect :P)
Genelia looks terrible on the cover, what with the open mouth and bad hair. The only pic which is alright is the one with the ranna gill shorts.
Vogue is certainly not living upto its name
exactly!
Couldn’t agree more! This is such an amateur shoot.. right from the concept to the styling to the production. It would have worked for a Fashion student’s portfolio but.. VOGUE!? Seriously?
I am in love with her Christian Louboutin Pigalili pumps on the cover! They’re so GORGEOUS! <3
I hate the super shiny, curly fake wig. I think bed head hair would have gone so much better with the rocker/groupie thing she’s doing.
What stems! Get it girl. 😉
Hah!I am so not buying the rocker look on her.Her facial expressions are too bland and the bangs aren’t helping either.
her face is totally photoshopped on the cover.. it looks like an animated version of her
am i the only one to notice how photoshopped the cover is? Her arms look very strange….. that being said, she pulls off the whole edgy look off well!
strange. she doesnt seem to “long leggy” in her movies and outside appearances.
I am not sure how well she carries these outfits since it looks like they are wearing her and not vversa. She has such a young face and looks a bit uncomfy posing in some shots, esp in the Blumarine ensemble. I suppose they were trying to play off her Fasttrack ads…
I see a transformation of sorts here. Sonali Kulkarni t–>herself–> Shruti Hassan.
If I had seen just the last pic, I would have put in all my money in to bet she was Shruti..looks nowhere close to how she is!!! The pic is heavily photoshopped!!!
That’s like five feet of photoshopped legs…..she isn’t so tall
On the cover page Genelia is wearing a studded Christian Louboutin Pigalili in silver. According to Shoerazzi the sexiest heels of 2010…..
Yup. Love ’em!!
The cover is so bad, it looks like they put her head on someone else’s body and then got a toddler to go nuts with photoshop. Yikes!
Photoshopped to death. Not impressive at all.
i think Vogue put her on the cover, may be cos they couldnt get another actress!
She has weird expressions in all her pics!
on the cover, her smile is Ms. Sherawat’s trademark open mouth smile. SO not Genelia.
love all the looks
Why does Vogue photoshop so much? it looks blatantly touched-up
