Genelia On Vogue India: (Un)Covered

Comment image 34

Genelia graces the Dec issue of Vogue India wearing a black version of the crochet dress we’ve already seen on Kangna. On her, the dress has a more edgy effect by way of the studded belt, gloves and the silver pumps. Except, the open mouth pose give the look an odd effect. We are missing a mic, folks.

Catch more of Genelia’s editorial inside thanks to Nimi.

    • i agree.. on the cover, i hate her hair. She is so cute and in the cover she looks dumb with the open mouth and unnatural smile.
Also dint get the pic where she is on the right and a guitarist on the left.. seems 2 different pics merged together.
      the rest, i like.

  1. looks not bad, but slightly on the ‘forced’ category. The second pik i think looks abit cheap and too forced, but Genilia does look nice though!:)

    • I wholeheartedly concur.

This has to be one of the worst Vogue editorials and cover ever (and theres been some tough competition) The trashy poses (why is her mouth wide open?), the legs, the disjointed clothes. Infact, that Cavalli shirt reminds me of Sonam’s Vogue cover – from the beginning of the year. Surely, the least we can expect from Vogue, if not inspiration, style, vision – is the latest in fashion??
Also – I don’t understand why Genelia is a covergirl.

      • Agree completely. Uninspired, unimaginative, and unbearable (ok that’s just for added effect :P)

Genelia looks terrible on the cover, what with the open mouth and bad hair. The only pic which is alright is the one with the ranna gill shorts.

Vogue is certainly not living upto its name

    • Couldn’t agree more! This is such an amateur shoot.. right from the concept to the styling to the production. It would have worked for a Fashion student’s portfolio but.. VOGUE!? Seriously?

  2. I hate the super shiny, curly fake wig. I think bed head hair would have gone so much better with the rocker/groupie thing she’s doing.

  3. am i the only one to notice how photoshopped the cover is? Her arms look very strange….. that being said, she pulls off the whole edgy look off well!

  4. I am not sure how well she carries these outfits since it looks like they are wearing her and not vversa. She has such a young face and looks a bit uncomfy posing in some shots, esp in the Blumarine ensemble. I suppose they were trying to play off her Fasttrack ads…

  5. I see a transformation of sorts here. Sonali Kulkarni t–>herself–> Shruti Hassan.
If I had seen just the last pic, I would have put in all my money in to bet she was Shruti..looks nowhere close to how she is!!! The pic is heavily photoshopped!!!

  6. On the cover page Genelia is wearing a studded Christian Louboutin Pigalili in silver. According to Shoerazzi the sexiest heels of 2010…..
