Was the tiny black insert a last minute addition? Looks as though the dress would have been to revealing without it. The dress itself is nothing special, nor edgy.

genelia looks smokin’ hot. she’s young enough to carry off this grungy edgy dress with panache. she’s got amazing legs too and she might as well show them off. i think she does the short dress thing better than priyanka as she looks relaxed and breezy.

Take an ancient shroud, rip it strategically and wrap it around yourself and watch the fun while the rest of us run screaming for our mummies. While you are at it, match the shroud with a gum bearing smile.

Looks good in the first photo. I would probably do pumps or high boots with this outfit. She looks a bit skimpy at the feet.
I like the dress but she just isn’t wearing it well. I’ve seen her rock other outfits but this just doesn’t look that great to me.
The bust line. It’s not working,.
Gen looks lovely. Can’t say the same about the dress,it’s been badly tailored. The fitting is all wrong on the tummy area and the bust-neckline is weird.
It’s cute, and I agree she always carries off her super-short skirts/dresses in a really casual and fun way.

I dont like the bustline or the hair, but Genelia makes the dress work because of her adorably impish attitude.
The length is probably a little risque for a Bollywood awards ceremony, but whether or not its too short is purely subjective, and as long as she carries it off (which she does) I have no problem.
I like the dress on Genelia.. now we just got the Riya sen look a few posts back.. both short dresses.. but Riya was tacky and genelia is fun!!
