In Roberto Cavalli
December 4th, 2009 at 12:22 am . by PayalFor the life of me, I cannot understand why Gauri felt the need to put a belt on this Roberto Cavalli gown. The slouchy YSL unnecessarily draws attention to her waist and brings back memories of a certain uncle whose tummy was so big he had to wear his belt under it! :P Coming back to Gauri, she would have looked so much better if she had just skipped it. Alas, another look spoilt thanks to one too many accessories.

gauri needs to change her dressing style ..its really gotten boring.She seems to like a dress and then buy it in every colour.She looks the same same ….

the dress is bad, the belt even worse. But the worst part of the look is the terrible wringly hair.

Gauri has terrible taste in everything…every dress she wears is too clubby – its a shame everything is designer.
Also the frosty lips (terrible) and hair just has to go!
i agree she shud not hav worn the belt. d dress itself wud hav looked very nice. & ya even i was hoping her to see in a diffrnt look. most of the tyms she comes out lookin diffrnt. but dis in dis she has been seen a lot of tyms. still anyhow ijust love gauri =)

Oh SO hideous. Really it would be a travesty to put that belt on anything, with that tacky “YSL” on there. Ugh.
Wonder why Gauri always accentuates what she really, really mustn’t. The low hanging belts do her less-than-perfect midriff no favours, and wearing her trademark strapless dresses halfway down her torso only drives home the lack of support in the area.
It really surprised me when Vogue India chose her to front their first cover. Course, VI’s been on a slippery slope to fashion ignominy on its own anyway.
i think we all have a paunchy uncle or two amongst our relatives but they probably don’t wear ysl. that belt is so unflattering.
I love the dress she wore for Kat’s party but unfortunetely she destroy it with that belt. Even this dress look ok(i didn’t like the brown version she wore earlier) but the BELT.
i like her hair style and her make up is getting better these days. I love the fact that she keep changing her hair style unlike Suzzane who has the same old hairstyle for last 10 years
Only good things about this look are the necklace & clutch.
Why gauri always wear tube Dresses ,tube tops,tube maxis,tube sheaths only.

I agree she has nice broad shoulders and long legs.But she can vary .She is worse than mandira who wore halter only in 4-5 events.She is stuck on bare-shoulders for years.
Here first tube dress is good minus her shoes (pics might look good,in reality,yellow wont suit her complexion)
