From LIFW: Sabyasachi
You’ve gotten a slice of the backstage action and now here’s a dose of the runway variety. Proper pics coming soon but for now enjoy the videos.
P.S. Wait a wee bit for the lights to turn up in the first video and definitely enjoy the music accompanying the presentation; it was awesome.

like the Aamir khan of the fashion industry …
hmm sorry i dont get any of the outfits!
Same here…not getting any goosebumps. Prefer some of his older stuff.
60s hippie chic vice. totally digging the collection especially the those head scarves. i’d rock those any day (minus the gramma panties hehe).
Why are indian fashion runway so low and short ?
A BIG Thank you to both of you for the updates…love to see Sabya….nd his creations…waiting for more clear pics….
LOVE it P&P…thanks so much! This is SO so exciting! 🙂 Wish you both lots of fun! And am swooning over the music in the second video.
umm…am i aloowd to say that i din like the collection a wee bit…
thank you!!
Looks like a dressier version of his show in NYC a few years ago. Similar silhouettes. Excellent detailing. Waiting for the photos.
Love the earthy look of the models, with the headscarf.
Who was the lady who came out with Sabya?
Hey P&P Thanx for the video but Plzzzzzzzzzzzz upload puctures of Sabyasachi show na plzzzzzzzzzz….
Me neither. Much as I love Sabyasachi and the earthy Indianness of his designs. I have to say this particular collection did nothing for me. This is so Arpora flea market in Goa! And mind you, the outfits there are like a hundred times cheaper!
he and tarun tahiliani are the best designers in india.
This is Sabya. To love his work one has to really like the handicrafts and cotton etc. He will always appeal (a lot) to people who wear a lot of boho stuff.
This show looks brilliant. There are layers of dresses. And each piece seperately looks great and wearable. That is Sabya’s style i guess. From head band to the bangles which to me look like wrapped with fabric, lot of thought must have gone through the styling. ilove every piece. Now if only i could afford them…Sigh!
