In Prada

Wearing a strapless Prada gown, Freida walked the red carpet of the 2012 Golden Globes. Some of you may find the gown a tad simple but no complains here. I think the color looks lovely on her.

She completed her look with jewellery by Chopard and a Roger Vivier clutch.

  1. I don’t think the gown’s exactly ‘simple’.. It has a nice texture and a very rich color..
But what about the silhouette? Shouldn’t the gown be more fitted?? Especially considering the scale of the event…

  2. The dress is nice, even if it’s simple. It’s not exactly what you’d call memrable though either. I LOVE the jewellrey and her hair was well done.

  3. This is a beautiful gown, but the color does nothing for her and she looks washed out…and no look is complete without earrings…some diamond studs would have worked. She has it in her to do so much better!

  6. Is it just me or does the dress kinda make her look like a disney princess figurine on a child’s birthday cake(which is not a good thing btw)?

  7. While I didn’t like the gown in the pix, and agree it was a bit loose her (the fitting was off), she actually looked quite lovely when she was actually on stage and presenting the clips on “Midnight in Paris”..i don’t know if someone actually pinned in the dress or what, but it was much more flattering on her. It’s definitely not the best look Frieda has ever done, but I like the color (it was very different from all the blush nudes and other colors on the red carpet)and I loved the necklace!

  8. 1. LOVE that she isn’t wearing earrings.
    2. LOVE that necklace – 144.6 carats..whoosh!
    3. not a huge fan of the dress, I personally think it makes her thin, petite figure look a bit odd, but she looks nice shoulders upwards!

  9. Among all the fashion houses, sometimes Prada comes up with the most hideous stuff. This dress is nothing but a bin bag with a belt attached. It makes the slim Ms. Pinto appear to have five hips!!

  10. I’m not gonna say that i’m a fan of the gown but what really turned me off was the hair and the fitting. it looked messy and, as far as the fitting goes, they could’ve done better. her figure gets lost in the gown. Frankly speaking the gown would have looked better on someone who had a more curvaceous body

  11. The belt loils like an afterthought considering the ill fitting dress waist down. She looks radiant neck up. I don’t mind the hair because it was meant to showcase that delish necklace. The gown definitely should have been more fitted waist below and how gorgeous is the makeup- so fresh and natural

  12. I like this side of Freida, simple and beautiful. By not doing much she is doing everything right. The fashion risk taking Freida I don’t like because she gets it wrong a lot of the time. She is really beautiful, her face, and you really notice that when she’s dressed simple. Btw to the person who said she looks washed out, really? Her skin color is so amazing she can wear anything. Indians can never look washed out. Only European can when they try to wear light colors like peach, blush, pink, etc like many did on the red carpet at the golden globes this year.
