In Calvin Klein Collection

It was a white Calvin Klein Collection dress again for Ms. Pinto at the Annual Women In Hollywood Tribute hosted by Elle.

Love the contrast of the necklace (Marni?) against the white but wish Ms. Pinto had picked different footwear. We’d have rather seen her wear a simple Jil Sanderish strappy sandal vs the slingbacks she had on.

  1. I like that she picked (another) white dress that compliments her skin tone. The shoes, not so much…it makes her feet look clunky…and I am not completely sold on the length of the dress either :/

    • I think the length looks odd because the shoes make her calves and ankles look abnormally skinny…or maybe I’m just partial to a classic Calvin Klein mid-calf dress. 🙂
Also, it’s lovely to see an Indian repping well in her sartorial choices; bless her style(ist).

  2. I actually liked the addition of those slingbacks , it got well complimented with the Wow necklace and also dint give an overall Angelic impression !

  3. Neck up she looks gr8 and ya necklace too .But the length of the dress, the shoes and the dress makes her look big esp hip area. Not liking it.

      • come on guys, its something different. The length “grew on me”. I like it after seeing this outfit a couple of times. It would have been so safe of her to snip it off till half way up her thighs but then it would look like Malaika, bipasha, shehzahn, sophie and many others.

        I love this look !

  4. It’s amazing what difference the necklace makes in the overall outfit. Love the shoes too! what a great example of oomphing up a simple dress!

  5. I am close to being convinced that you guys are partial to Ms Pinto. This dress is plain awkward and Ms Pinto doesn’t have the height to pull it off. And she looks matronly. Also her hairdo we have seen a million times on her already.

  6. P&P – agree with on the shoes – too clunky for the look. Also, not sure if I like the length with this fit. I wish either she had the dress taken in just a tad bit, below the hips or worn a shorter length. This loose, long weird length dress is bleh. Waist up, she looks fab.

  7. Not really feeling the length of the dress. I think it would look better if the length was mid-calf. Don’t really mind the shoes – strappy sandals would have looked better though considering the solid-ness of the dress, but she looks pretty good. Especially love the necklace against the dress!

  8. Matching the necklace to the shoes is an idea that I liked but the style of those shoes make me cringe. Too big on her feet or at least they look it.

  9. I wasn’t really impressed by the collection, but seeing the dresses on celebrities makes me wanna have a little white dress of my own. I like that she added the necklace. And I agree with the commentor above about the shoes making her feet look clunky.

  10. I like the color of the sling backs, goes well with her necklace but I dont like their brown base.
Like how the necklace and & those sandals add color to the look.
But her dress length is weird.

  11. Did you think the dress does not fit her like a glove? Some unslightly bumps and folds seen..not the best look for Freida. I do love the pop of color in the necklace and shoes.

  12. i love her feet up. she looks perfect head to ankle. i feel like she seems to make bad shoe choices a lot. she has really skinny legs and the clunky shoes make them look even skinnier. this is one example where knowing one’s body trumps following a trend. i have super skinny legs and avoid all platforms, wedges, clunky chunky shoes like the plague!

  13. I don’t like the neck piece….just because it’s designer doesn’t mean it’s nice. She would have looked better without the neck piece. The dress may be an odd length but she manages to look lovely. I actually like the shoes. Love her clean, fresh, mininum makeup, and, that smile.

  14. i LOVE this look from head to toe. So different from the most looks out there. Love the fact that she is so comfortable in trying out the ‘odd’ lenghts and ‘weird’ shoes! you go girl!
