In Alexander McQueen
Freida looked great in the embellished cut-out McQueen at a recent event. While Payal thought the dress needed the belt to finish out the look better, I didn’t mind the look as is. What about you?

Hate the dress…makes her chest flat. looks like some school kid
My first thought too. Makes her chest look flat. maybe coz its too tight from top.
There is nothing with the flat chested look.. I personally think it helps look more “Fashion” when you’re flatter chested.. not that there’s anything wrong with bigger boobs either! lol.
Is that because a lot of people who work in fashion (i.e. models) are flat-chested? Maybe once we get enough full-figured models, the size of one’s boobs will no longer determine how “fashion” they look.
There is nothing wrong with being flat chested!! I am a proud 36 A cup.
wow she looks gorgeous thought I do not like the cut outs much
agreed
Its kind of looking weird, looks like her front is actually her back with her head twisted.
How fit is she! There’s ab cleavage out there:)
Breathtakingly elegant! Love how she gets it right almost every single time!
LOVE IT. its different compared to what she usally wears.
she is looking stunning neck up, but somehow Iam finding that midriff too distracting. the break in the dress wasnt required. that s just me though!
Yikes! What an awful unaesthetic dress.
Not just the belt, the dress is completely off at the torso on Freida. On model, it looks so classy, on FP it’s tacky.
I think she looks absolutely amazing!
I know as a fan of Indian fashion, this embellished dress stood out to me when I first saw it (surely it reminds others of Indian embellishments on a lahenga or sari?)
I don’t usually like bare abs on the red carpet, but she looks so confident that I think i’ll let it pass.
I would have preferred the belt but yes I love the Indian vibe of this dress as well!!!
+1
Actually, the dress looks much better on Freida than the model.
Hello mamma!
Girl crush alert!
super super super. love the look. doesn’t need a belt
BELT REQ. N NEWYS FREIDA LOOKS BORING IN THS ONE
Yes, having seen the model, it does look more complete with a belt.
+1
is it just me or does this outfit resemble a lengha?
…made out of a sari.
I can’t even describe how awful this dress looks and she definitely has not been able to salvage it.
I love the dress! Beautiful…..I mean it looks good and perfect by itself but then once you see the pic with the belt i’m gravitating towards it!
the look as-is is great too but a belt a la the model would hv added a certain level of panache IMO..
love it!!! n without the belt.
she’s looking nice. the dress gives the illusion that she has curves.
She looks good, but strangely I am getting that vulgar vibe from the dress. And I have nothing against skin show, but I guess cut-outs are always weird that way..
I prefer with belt. Her body looks quite fit and toned.
I love it as is.Very sexy.
Yup, the addition of a belt would have made the look more complete.
Her hair is meh. Plus she has a very flat chest and that gets highlighted in this dress. Totally not working for me.
The belt is required to save the dress from looking tacky and it would have given definition to Freida’s waistline.
The addition of the belt would have made this a killer look.
It is actually a nice dress from the usually overdone Alexander McQueen collection.
Its a simple and beautiful dress. she looks nice.
Just a suggestion to high heel confidential since I so love your stuff, could you ask your photographers to take pictures of the hairstyles and outfits from the back, it’ll be of great help and I think we sometimes miss out on good stuff because the detailing is only at the back…would much appreciate it!
this is what you call design. the cut outs are so well thought out, looks edgy without looking too punk. i think she looks great. i do like the belted look better but its great without it too.
The belt saved what could have turned out to be a disastrous dress; looks far better on the model than Freida. Her hair and make-up are nicely done…the waist line fits in a twister manner.
I think she ditched the belt to flaunt her abs. She is quite fit, must be working out a lot.
I find this dress okay-ish on her, the Indian vibe does appeal definitely. However, i fail to see how people can spend thousands on dollars on such clothes, when I can easily get a saree outta my mom’s closet and have it stitched almost the same (except the cutouts maybe!). Wish she had picked something more interesting.
she shouldn’t wear midriff exposing stuff … maybe the 0% fat gives her the confidence to go for it … but damn it’s masculine … and then in combination with being flat chested … it’s no from me …
the belt does give ooomph to the dress in my humble opinion. makes it look richer. AND it hides the hideous cut outs.
nah..the luk is jst perfect, the length n fit :* i dnt think she needed the belt(like the model)..dat wud hv hid the cut outs n a narrow belt wudnt hav lukd niceeither!
