In Marni for H&M

At first glance, we though Ms. Pinto was wearing boots and pigtail braids. On closer inspection turns out what we thought were boots were actually knee-length socks worn with Mary Janes and the braids was the Marni for H&M sequin collar on her Marni for H&M dress.

If you ask us, we think the dress could’ve been worn much better. All that black is more of a downer than upper.

P.S. Will you be standing in line to snag pieces from the Marni for H&M collection?

  1. Honestly, I’m not sure much else could have been done with this outfit, colour-wise – the dress itself has such a weird colour combination – that shade of blue and that shade of orange itself are a terrible contrast, and the black accents at the shoulder (and belt?) only make it worse. I actually think she was wise not to add any new colours to this look. This look, including the dress, or just meh.

  2. personally, i find ms. pinto’s body awkwardly structured, and this dress emphasizes that. the satiny chest area is not flattering, and proceed lower to an equally unflattering fit at the waist.
