    Washed Out

What’s with that haircut? Did she cut it herself?

its better than the other WTHeyys

aww pretty dress but her makeup and hair are so…washed out looking!

Yep- thats what i thought too.. she looks washed out.. the hair looks like a schoolgoers hair.. pretty bad!

I am not a Sonali Bendre fan but I think if she lost the stole and styled her hair she may actually look nice in this dress

Too pale… washes her out completely.

Sonali is so beautiful, no question about that, but this color isn’t doing anything for her.

Is Btown smitten by Victoria Beckham/Rihanna? She still looks much better than the other ladies at the event…def needed a darker color…

  9. namrata at | | Reply

needs more colour, plus the gown looks like it started off well, and then someone just lost interest in it, it looks half done. Sonali is pretty but looks washed.

LOVE the dress, and I think it goes well with her skin
it’s tha hair and makeup that need help
now, I love bobs, but I hate them when slicked back lite so, she could have totally pinned it up
BAD BAD makkeup, and she looks tired too

Love the dress ..but its killing it by no color and the face…just washed out…and she had such pretty hair..why would she do this monstrocity to herself…maybe the behl family has finally rubbed on her.

Now that’s a yummy mummy. I agree on her hair. Long hair suits her better.

wish sonali and ash exchanged their dresses for the event…..

her hair n dull make up spoils the outfit

Gown is pretty though makes her look washed out, but hair and ‘make-up’ (I only see lipstick) is not. It looks like she’s ready to have a spa treatment (hair pulled back, clean face, no make-up) rather than be at a premiere.

i liked the dress…..but her hair are awful!!!!!! what was she thinkin….

  19. kismet at | | Reply

such a shame, she is a beautiful woman, but here totally washed out, her make-up is awful, same goes for hair. and the colour is all wrong for her,

lastly agree with namrata – gown started off well, with a bad ending.

I can’t understand this sudden obsession with western brands in bollywood, be it clothes-bags-shoes, i’m sure it wasn’t this way before.

love the dress, love the fit, love the colour, she could how ever had a bit more colour on her face, and done a really nice relaxed hairstyle, this is too severe and then worn some statement jewellery…

  21. Ritu at | | Reply

Love the color and the sheer material around the bust. Her look beats Ash hands down at that premiere.

It’s like a low-end version of Kate Winslet’s gorgeous mint green one-shouldered Valentino from the 2007 Oscars.

i’ve seen other pics of the event and i think she looked gorgeous! i agree she is a yummy mummy…shes lots tons of weight since abhi-ash wedding and is looking cute!

  24. Mrug at | | Reply

People, this is just a bad picture. I’ve checked her other pics from this event, and I think she looks fabulous. She has a beautiful complexion. And I think this dress makes her skin glow.

  25. AstralDust at | | Reply

I think the gown looks lovely. A little more color on the face and she would’ve shined!

  26. saba at | | Reply

the dress looks gooood on her but the hair….??

  27. arbitary at | | Reply

What happened to her lovely hair?? I can’t understand this trend of wearing gowns to movie premieres, its too award-function types. That aside, the gown looks interesting on top. It is not a good idea to wear clothes so close to your skin color – looks totally washed out.

  28. clara at | | Reply

uh huh… can’t recognize the dress though

  29. malini at | | Reply

she looks totally out of it…
hair is ruining it from the head.. and it’s a disaster head to toe..
color is sooo BLAH on her
and gown.. some started it and did not want finish it..
wish she had worn saree or something

  30. me at | | Reply

it looks like they pinned her hair up with a clip to finish her makeup and totally forgot to do her hair..she should have looked in the mirror before leaving the salon and reminded them to blow dry her hair as welll

I love this dress, but the color doesn’t look great on sonali, I wud have loved it in the green color that angelina wore – http://www.highheelconfidential.com/angelina-jolies-green-dress-from-cannes/

  32. karishma g at | | Reply

the detailing on the top half of the dress is very pretty but the colour of the dress is all wrong for her. also, i love short hair on indian women but this hairstyle doesn’t suit sonali.

wow! amazing dress. wat designer is this PnP? but i agree with everyone here – she does look very pale, tired, and washed out. here’s an e.g of how bad make up can mk a pretty gal look un-pretty! she had such long, silky hair – y did she chop it all off? however, for someone who recently gave birth, shez in great shape.

  34. Chevalier at | | Reply

maybe it’s just me – I really like the dress!!!!! The makeup could’ve been better, though.

  35. AP2008 at | | Reply

The dress is nice, but it doesn’t do anything for her. Maybe it’s the way her hair and make up have been styled – she looks tired. Personally, I would have chosen a little bit more of a vibrant shade of pink for her.

I like the dress, the colour and the clutch. I actually LOVE the colour its so sweet, simple and sophisticated in contrast with the glaring look at me colours that are so often sported. Evare.. I think you’re being seriously harsh with your “typical Indian” comment. Since you already started generalizing I just want to add that I think your mentality can be called “typical Indian”.

  37. Sharin at | | Reply

Oops forgot to mention that her makeup and hair def needs work. So often I hate the makeup and hair of the ladies in “B-town” when they go to events…it’s like the makeup artists don’t know how to do anything other than movie makeup.
