So we know that Ms. Khan is all things animal-print obsessed but this dress is just not working! At all. On the brighter side, she seems to have finally figured out her make-up and looks fabulous! Minus the dress. Of course.

  2. She is actually looking fresh and glowing but thats about it. the dress is very very mediocre to begin with and she should’ve ditched the animal print clutch coz it makes the look very matchy matchy. the clutch is good though but cant say im a big fan of those shoes.

  3. yep. the makeup is right and she looks good.. just wish the dress wasnt that shiny or is it the flash.. i am ok with the dress, nothing great not that bad either..

  4. Something seems different.. and its either the hair, makeup or the smile (slight inkling of movement on her face).

Although her dressing sense still hasn’t changed. She could accutally serve the purpose of being a billboard for advertising all the high-end labels which exist.

  5. When will they ever figure this out…never ever wear satin like fabrics to any event that you have to do any more than stand like a statue… it wrinkles and clings to all the wrong places.

I wouldnt ever, ever wear this, but in comparison to some she has worn its not really that bad. In comparison only!

    The make up is pretty.

  6. If the dress had some beadwork on the sleeves instead of teh hideous animal print it would have looked much better. Infact even if it was plain black, it would have worked. The makeup is a wee bit better..the shine factor has definitely come down. And the sandals are not bad except for the hanging golden thingy.

  8. Dont like the dress. Or the clutch. Or the shoes. Surprised that her toes are unpainted!! (or atleast they look that way!).
As for the makeup…she seems to have taken down the oil/glow down…but I still think she looks washed out.

  9. I agree she looks good. The makeup is not loud and oily and her animal print obsession is at a minimum. She has a great figure and just needs to invest in spanx for dresses to avoid the belly problem.

  10. Oh God, WHEN is she going to learn? The sleeves are just too much! i only liked the shoes and the clutch.

Gauri and Ash need to hire me as their stylist. 🙂 I can be their Rachel Zoe!! ha! Do you guys watch that show on Bravo? I’m totally hooked!

  11. Yeaah good call about the makeup and her outfit isn’t “wtheyy” not that you said it was, but I don’t really mind it… I mean, it isn’t fab. either.

  12. Idont think she looks fabulous – i think she did something irreversible to her face – the eyebrows are way too arched, and skin’s still oily – on top of that, her face is roundish and she should consider wearing her hair loose and straight.. Also, black is NOT her color!!

  13. I actually like the dress, maybe not the cuffs. However, her face isn’t makeuppppppppped but its still very surgically enhanced and thats not a good look. I was reading somewhere that Gauri was part of Shamak Davar’s dance troup…is this true? is that why shes in really good shape??

  14. the only thing i think when i see her pic is “WHY ARE THE CUFFS SO BIG AND WIDE??”

I mean the dress is a normal black dress, if the cuffs were slim and small, she might have got away with it. But the bag is taking it too far for my taste’s.

  15. You know, I am going to actually say I like Gauri here. In this “Drona Premiere picture series”, my vote goes to Sonam whose rocking the edgy look and Gauri, whose doing the sophisticated look well.

Gauri’s makeup, outfit (to a large extent), her clutch, minimum accessories and shoes are all pleasant on the eyes. Not bad at all.

  16. one word….SPANX. why oh why does she still insist on wearing clothes that do nothing for her waistline. A beautiful kaftan dress from Temperley or a Marchesa chiffon gown would have looked so much better on her!

  17. actually i dont know why people wear satin. its best saved for sheets. it is very unflattering around the belly even for the best bodies

  19. I love the way she looks! Fresh skin…long lean body. Everything works in harmony here unless you really need to be critical for no apparent reason?

  20. gauri’s make up is gorgeous. but hate the cuffs on her dress. the shoes are great. i spot a little dazzling logo on it. what designer is it?

there was alot of blacks and creams at this premiere!

  21. love the makeup – the dress not so much – like the shoes but they do nothing for her feet – who wears sandals that show off so much foot cleavage and not bother with a pedicure?!

  22. Not really a big fan of animal prints, but this is much better than what we’ve seen Gauri in lately! And her make up is done nicely!!

  24. Me thinks she looks good too. Its how animal print should be worn, a little bit here and there. It should not be all over the dress( remember Malaika and Shilpa in that D and G?!)
