  1. How very lovely & event appropriate! Loving the retro hair…when someone gets it right everytime, it shows the difference between style & stylist!!

      • those 2 sizes bigger still makes her look small cause she has such a small waist anyway—she’s a perfect candidate to wear bulky sari’s…..whay i don’t get is how much more beautiful does she have to dress to get some decent roles—i see such star material in her……..

  3. Soooo happy to see a trditional weave being worn by these bollies … FINALLY, someone gives credut to traditional sarees as opposed to those net/diamonte trash which is flung around and then worn with bikini tops a-la Bipasha ..
Phew ! Thank you Dia !

  4. Love the saree and love the way she wore it including the perfectly fitting blouse. Wish she had worn a chain or a bindi or something other than the earrings. Nevertheless, it is a fab as it is. So glad to not see another shiny/net/transparent MM type saree.

  5. What was life like before the fashion blogs?

I hardly watch Hindi movies and even for the regular watcher I don’t think Dia is among the top actresses?

But I remember Dia simply because she looks so divine on these pages. The woman is like a moving artwork.

PS: If someone casts her in a revival of the Muslim social I am buying a ticket for the film. She is spot on for those roles.

    • Actually if anyone did a revival of the Muslim social I would buy a ticket. I love those old movies – the tehzeeb, language and sheer romance of it! And of course the lovely clothes and grace they were worn with.

BUT i wouldn’t want remakes, would really spoil greats like Chaudhvin ka Chand or Pakeezah.

  7. She looks beautiful as always although the benarsi saree is a tad mature looking for her – but I still love it so much more than the synthetic sarees everyone Dias age wear these days.

  8. Don’t like the hair. If she had gone in for something else, it would have added a twist to the look and elevated it. But its still good as it is.
