In Anita Dongre
Dia opted for a silk Anita Dongre maxi adding a contrasting orange dupatta to the look, which elevated the look so much more. While I love the layered pearl necklace, here I thought it made the look rather busy, especially given the weave pattern of the maxi and dupatta. A simpler necklace would’ve worked better here, me thinks.
That is not to say, Ms. Mirza looked bad. She rarely ever does.

Should have been work like on a runway by keeping it simple. Rare miss for Diya. This looks so crazy and overwhelming with the orange duppata and the huge necklace.
Agree her necklace is redundant here but as soon as my eyes see her beautiful smile, all is forgotten 🙂
can someone please tell me what is the name of this design of necklace..i’ve been wanting to buy one for a very long time but don’t know what to call it. (p.s: googling indian layered pearl necklace doesn’t identify it…i need to know the exact name). thanks!!
hi …just found out and thought i should reply to my own query… its called Hyderabadi Satlada. yay for me!!!
I always loved this dress and it looks fab on Diya. Like the necklace too-adds character I feel….just wish she would lose the dupatta!
Love the necklace! Stunning. Just not on this outfit. But she looks pretty anyway.
Christmas tree!! unexpected look from Dia…does nothing for her!
I actually love the addition of the necklace! Makes the whole look more regal and breaks up all that pink of the maxi
