Can’t remember the last time Sonam has left us this disappointed. The voluminous red velvet makes her look short and dare we say, ‘podgy’… the hair doesn’t work and the shoes just don’t go with the outfit… jewelry is yummy but a bit much for the outfit and the one wearing it in question…
But we aren’t too worried, it was about time she had atleast one off day! ;)

hhaha i think we jinxed her…i knew this was coming! lol her hair seems so oily and weird. red velvet is wayy too ugly. what is with velvet..its everywhere geez. the original creation looks better than the one she has on. i hope this is a first and last for sonam:)

I seriously want to cry, I knew she would be dressed in an ethnic style, which is a good call, and love the colours. But at NYC, when the world media has eyes on you, she should have upped her game. She doesn’t look her usual cute self. Looks very washed out. Why, jet lagged?
Seriously, she is not bad at all, anyone else and we would have been fine, but we all expected so much more from our darling girl!!!
I think she has caught the velvet bug from the Bachan family. The model is wearing a different fabric (Isn’t it?)
I also like the blue on the model.

Like the dress on the model, she really should’ve worn that, the length of this one is just silly, and yes her hair looks like its got a maalish with tel!!! lol

I don’t like the outfit. But in the other pictures she looks good from the neck up. The hair actually looks better in some photos – maybe she combed it.
BTW, Abhishek looks elegant in his three piece suit.

It’s the hair that lets her done in this set of pics, but i’ve seem others where her hair is straight and styled how she normally has it.
Her outfit for today when meeting with the press is quite nice and simple, you should put them up too because she’s back on track and looking very smart and sophisticated.
I like it actually… she looks impeccable and Im glad the hair are done differently. It makes her look older, less school girly, more womanly. But I wish the material wasn’t velvet.
I LOVE how she looks..hair, dress and all…it’s just the shoes that I think she could have done better st…
im a little tired of her tunic style anarkali tops..red velvet but longer wouldve been just fine..i like the way she’s draped her duppatta…no one does it this way anymore! also..i agree with nina, the shoes could’ve done better..just a pair of zari juttis..jewellery is gorgeousssss!

I was at the premiere and I must say that I saw this in person and it looked absolutely stunning. I think here it must be the angle of the shot, if anything. She was also looking super thin at the premiere, has definitely lost some weight. This girl was the tallest one in the theater, there is no way she can look short! Her makeup was incredible also.
i think she looks as beautiful as ever..and i’m glad that her hair isn’t blow dried to perfection..it gives it a i just woke up look..and the jewellery is also stunning..i don’t think any other actress could carry off this outfit as well as she does..
The orginal dress was very pretty, it didn’t need a modification. Red and black is a very boring combination. I can’t believe how dowdy Sonam looks here. This was her moment to shine in front of the media!

she is SO pretty. only, the outfit isnt. definitely not expected out of sabyasachi. would have been better had it been matka silk instead of velvet, and fitted till the bustline.
Love the dreaa in the first picture… I ove sabya’s dupatta styles… very rich… and the batuva is so elegant.. I would have one in a smaller size.
