Before the premiere of their movie in Mumbai, both Vin and Deepika attended a press conference. For the occasion, Deepika picked an intricate Sabyasachi dress. Wearing her hair back, she finished out the look with discreet earrings and a pair of matching strappy sandals.
The star shimmered in that beaded, fringe dress; she looked good! I can’t help but wonder, how much better this look would’ve been with one of her signature dark, matte lip colors.

The outfit is kind of shapeless and the colour really washes her out. The hair and makeup are also very understated – which would be okay, but there’s nothing to look at, nothing striking in this look/outfit. Completely agree with a different/darker lip colour – any contrast would make this look better!
I thought you guys hated when she did the dark lip? I remember some snarky comments about the oxblood lip she did for a while.

It looks as if her hair wash is overdue and that shapeless dress is not helping even with all the bling on it. Like somebody mentioned before, confidence is the key and it seems she has lost it..meh

I wish she had skipped tie jacket. But that’s just a minor gripe. The dress is stunning. I love the fact that she didn’t go for a red lip. Hoping to see her donning a Sabya on international platforms too. Deepika+ Sabya & Deepika+Naeem Khan are the best combinations imo!

This is a neither here not there look! Hate indo western and she’s just getting it all wrong this tour. Turning into Aishwarya with the bad stylist! Beautiful face& a body to match. Learn from Priyanka. And the shoes are ill fitting her feet always sticking out. Looks awful
The outfit just washes her out and nothing pops out. Such lacklustre outfits man. And once again the outfit does nothing for her statuesque body
Deepika, you’re lovely but your TOES – WHY GIRL WHY?!! It doesn’t matter how exquisite the embroidery on your dress is, or how tasteful your hair and makeup is, when your toes are hanging off your shoes like that.
This is a sad look…really underwhelmed by her choice…I get it that you’ll wanna go with Indian designer but this..Sabya needs to up his game..n I can’t unsee her toe overhang…
I really like the outfit but as separate pieces. The floor length jacket overwhelms the gorgeous dress. Some may feel the make-up is too bland but the outfit is so busy, it’s probably a good idea to keep the make-up clean. Would have preferred a deep plum lips though.
Hair and make is not on. It makes her otherwise stunning face look swollen and round. Not so sure of this outfit for a press meet.
Totally agree with u P&P. When the look needs dark lip she does not go for it. When the look does’nt need , she will be in it

I really like Deepika, but off late, she’s started resembling a hanger. Gone are those sexy curves. what’s left is a clothes hanger/ stick thin figure which looks like she’s drowning in the clothes she wears.
Sad, because she’s so beautiful and has soo much potential.
Really really bad choice of dress. She’s so lovely and this is such a big moment for her that it feels bad being negative. But whoever picked this dress/shoes/make up got it all wrong.

I think she looks nicer in this than the gold Naeem Khan. Rather, nice in this and not in the gold one.
