Yes, she has the face and body to make such colors and dresses work. But she seriously needs to do something with her hair styling. She’s been having too many bad hair days recently.

    Too overwhelming! Dazzled my eyes.

Bright red is not my color but Deepika here looks gorgeous. I see a glow on her face again. She should experiment with different hairstyles.

I don’t think this is a good look at all! That outfit is quite overwhelming. Also, why is Deepika always wearing coloured contacts? It’s just so tacky.

eeeyuukkhhhh!!!! that was d first word that came out of my mouth the moment i saw this pic! She looks like she just came out of a circus! EWWW! that outfit is quite overwhelming and those ughllly earrings just dont go with that outfit…plus the ughly lenses…it makes her look like a vampire…she needs to work on her looks…like its about time already!

wow someone is mighty jealous huh? ;)

      1. Sabah Zaman at | | Reply

nope..nothing to be jealous about…the thing is she doesnt know how to dress up..or rather doesnt know what can make her look better…she looks like a vampire in those ughh lenses and that dress and earrings dont just go…eww :S

You kidding me? She looks overwhelmingly overwhelming here!! Shocker!

she is very pretty but this outfit is swallowing her up.

Disagree completely P & P, this is too much for her. I also notice that Deepika never looks fresh

i think its more the gold earrings paired with the red anarkali that works. n hate to say this, cuz like others i want her to change up her hairstyle, but it actually does work too. overall, a very nice simple elegant look.

    1. kasthuri at | | Reply

I think so too..the gold earrings, red bindi and red anarkali is what works… and well, she does have the most gorgeous of faces ! I have no probs with the hair…like it as it is..

i dont like the dress much, but yes i guess dippy is making it work even remotely ..guess its her posture …her body language is faultless

I a not a fan of the outfit but red is Deepika’s colour! She pops everytime she wears red. Remember how good she looked on Simi Selects in her red gown?

Hmmm… I am on the fence about this look. Maybe it will look gorgeous on TV.

To me she looks really tacky……ewww

The golden patch in the end was not needed. However she pulls it off quite well.

how can anybody love this – it looks like a tent and the ghastly colour on those gold earring are an eyesore ! why does it seem like you ALWAYS go easy on Deepika ? Any special reason ?

  17. Jiya at | | Reply

its not working for me at all…..AT ALL…not expected from anamika khanna…

Love her head to toe. Such a beautiful girl.

I actually think she’s working the outfit. Perhaps my only pet peeve would be the fact that there is gold AND silver (grey??) on the same outfit. How on earth do you accessorise?

She made the right choice in keeping the makeup understated too.

I do think the hair works with this outfit. With another outfit, not too much. It’s pulled back from her face and since the outfit’s got a high neck, the hair doesn’t grab attention from what she’s wearing.

WRT the lenses, i actually think she looks good. It suits her. If someone saw her for the first time, they might actually think it was her real colour. That said, the girl looks just as good, if not better, with her natural eye-colour.

Not sure about the shoes though.

The outfit is so bad like Manish Malhotra meets the Nutcracker!

I dont see how those earrings match with the silver-ish embroidery or that bronze gota patch at the bottom!

    1. Dee at | | Reply

LOL!! that’s funny! The earrings I like though.

  21. khush at | | Reply

I dont like the look at all..the gold earrings, the work on the dress, that gold/copper border..aargh !

  22. Anubha at | | Reply

Her nude makeup saved her day..

  23. :) at | | Reply

I likeee…it would have been really nice if the gold border at the bottom was cut off, not only it’s less tacky, but also shorter in length, it would have been just perfect

  24. Grace at | | Reply

The contrast to her oufit, hair and fake eyes are too much for me! If she needs to wear red, lessen other colors including her fake eyes!

  25. slc at | | Reply

Ditch the earrings and the outfit is not so bad. Red looks good on her.

  26. sabrina at | | Reply

huh?!! she looks so funny with the hair and the cowbell earrings. not only is it overwhelming, its tacky.

    1. Sabah Zaman at | | Reply

lol…cowbell earrings…hahahha..yes thats the word i was looking for…thats what i said she looks like she just came out of a circus…way too overwhelming..

  27. The Mad Momma at | | Reply

it would have been fine with just the gold border or the work on the yoke. both together just clash. particularly the gold jhumkas with the work on the yoke.

  28. monika at | | Reply

don’t like the gold jhumkas with that outfit!!& I don’t get not waering a chunni………this is not a tunic. An anarkali to me looks incomplete without a chunni

whats to like here? way too long outfit, jarring earrings.. dips is cute so she makes this passable but that’s it.

  30. pdabre at | | Reply

lol…I would rather not accessorize this dress at all with so much going on already … and even pull back my hair to just let the look balance itself out.
