Doing Denim
July 30th, 2009 at 10:51 am . by PayalI am not a big fan of denim dresses and partly because most of them are either the wrong shade of blue (read: too light blue) or just have a tacky fit. But I have to admit, I really like Ms. Padukone’s casual look. The dress’ dark color works really well with her gold accessories. She completes her look with a Prada messenger bag with gold hardware.

I like it, I think the gold shoes are a great accent to the denim dress; however the messenger bag seems a little off to me.. i think a smaller msngr bag would h ave fit the bill better, esp as her gladiator gold shoes seems a little more on the trendier side than the bag itself. Something smaller perhaps as the bag seems to be in a league of its own! Otherwise I like the denim, although its not a true denim dress (its better thank God!) where its not bulkly and is of a more light sateen cotton material. Love it!

Very well done. I love her age appropriate look, the easy hair instead of straightened long rattails. Those sandals look great with the dress, and so love the bangles. I will not crtique the messenger bag as it works well for the dress and age appropriateness. Deepika is a lovely girl with the most awful dress sense thus far. This is her look; youthful, carefree, happy.
