Ms. Padukone after a string of appearances in Gauri-Nainika, changed it up (sorta) by wearing a white halter neck Ferragamo striped gown.
We say sorta because high-neck is what Deepika has been drawn to at almost every recent red carpet. Not that we are complaining. Love the dark lips against the white.

I really do not like the combination of that hair with the high-neck on Deepika.
She looks very… uptight, for lack of a better word.

The dress is supposed to be ‘uptight’ (see the original) :P also the hair choice was perfect with this neck…..The only issue i find with this look is the fit of the dress waist up !
Also i dont like the gothic lips lips with this flowy, feminine dress !

the neckline looks like a neck brace. this is a let down especially when compared to that beautiful green gown she wore to an award function.

The hair should have been down or a looser updo and the makeup should have been lighter. Also, he needs to loosen up a little. In all her red carpet appearances she looks like a Sunday school kid who dare not mis behave.

The look should work in theory but there is something wrong with it. The cakey makeup with the dark lipstick is scary in the middle picture…reminds me of Addam’s Family. Does anybody know why Deepika’s hair is never completely pulled back and flat in her ponytail or bun looks? It is adding to her height and in combination with the high neck, makes her look stretched out.
