In Ralph & Russo Couture

XXX: Return of Xander Cage premiered in Hollywood on Thursday evening where the actor was seen in a custom Ralph and Russo gown that sure made Ms. Padukone look statuesque.

While I can’t fault the pairing of the ruby Lisa Eisner earrings, I was a bit underwhelmed by the hair and makeup. I expected a knockout look channeling some Serena Unger hotness but this was more a look that oozed subtle elegance and perhaps that’s why I feel the way I did.

Did you love her here?

  1. The color looks good on her.i am not liking rest everything.this is ageing her.and i honestly feel she is giving confusing looks.rather random looks.its helping neither her film character look nor her own personality.
Though technically, the gown is elegant, makeup on point and hair so-so.

  2. The gown fit her perfectly and looks amazing with her skin tone-I think she looks stunning. I am generally not a fan of the sleek pony tail but I think it goes with her overall look here.

  3. She looks elegant. The gown fits her well . Her makeup was not perfect but nothin too bad. Her makeup, hair and styling team in America are doing way better than her Indian team

  4. There was a time when deepika could wear a sack and turn heads around. I dont know but recently i feel Deepika’s fashion game has been below par. I cant think of a recent look where my jaw dropped. I knew that would happen a lot of times in the past. The make-up and the earrings pleaded for a softer hair do. The hair looks so stiff and sleek and don’t go with the gown. Even the gown to me is pretty meh. I could not believe it was Ralph and Russo.

  5. Agree with Tab. On the Instagram photos she looks all confident and fierce. Put her in the US red carpet and she’s all babe in the woods. Poor thing is nervous. I do love this look though !

  6. The makeup is not working. I love smokey eyes, but the smudging color under eyes is just wrong for her skin tone. I have a feeling that her makeup artist may not have too much experience working with indian skin tones.

  8. It’s a great Color on her. I find the fit around bust area unflattering . The off shoulder part of the neckline is cutting into part of her chest not in a good way, R&R had great runs with Indian celebs on International red carpets, can’t believe this is a custom.

  9. Its a nice look but hate this severe parting she favours. I have seen better eye make up and the dress is a little too snug esp on the chest area. But its not a deal breaker. Still better than a couple of the other appearances.

  10. I dont know why Deepika herself doesnt realize it yet !! She really needs to get a new stylist !!
So many of her appearances have lacked that awesomeness that she is naturally blessed with. She has a great body and is statuesque and there’s so much more that can be done.

  11. She should have consulted sonam for her international outing seriously…her personality is lost in random clothes she has been wearing lately….those earrings are blending her makeup is not complementing, she looks dull…she could have looked smashing but alas i guess thats for an another day….i think anaita should be hired by deepika asap…what a platform …what a wasted opportunity

  12. She’s looked amazing this whole tour but something’s been missing. She’s stunning looking with the figure height to match but she hasn’t created that WOW feel like I thought she would. Her look is too elegant for a xxx movie premiere. Would have liked to see her something more sexy. The gold dress for the India premier was inappropriate there but would have been perfect for LA.

  13. Doesn’t blow me away….something more risque and edgy was what I was looking for. I agree it was a wasted opportunity on a fantastic platform.
