Doing Denim

Comment image 47

Wearing distressed One Teaspoon denims with a matching printed shirt from H&M, Deepika promoted her upcoming movie at a recent event. With her hair in a ponytail, the actor finished out the look with a pair of bright Louboutins.

Deepika would look good wearing a sack, but does that mean she should? There’s no doubt Ms. Padukone owned her look but those super-distressed denims should’ve been saved for an off duty look. For a press meet, no dice! We weren’t fans.

  1. Wow this is really trashy. Would’ve still been passable if the denim were fitted. It looks as if a revengeful foe tore them apart with all their might. She and her stylist have a really poor sense of casual style.

  2. I can’t stand distressed jeans but this is torture. Don’t understand who makes the decision that this is an appropriate ‘movie promotional’ attire.

  3. Too much going on with the star print, the distressed denim and those shoes. I think this would have looked a lot better if it were made into a romper.

  4. Just adore and love your complexion ,don’t be harsh for just looking white skinned. Distressed denims need a subtle top and this combo which is more like romper is funniest. I won’t prefer stylling with red pumps with short length. This is total flop..rarely expected from deepika…

  5. Woah… those denims are really distressed. Too much. The entire look is pretty harsh. This event suited a more delicate, subtle look, not this one DP. Pass this one, can’t wait to see your other outfit.

  6. If the pants were fitted, the tatters would have worked. Now it’s making her legs (thighs) look hefty-thick when we know it is not so. She looks very pretty waist above.

  7. Quater life crisis or arrogance? She might look good in sack, no need to prove it. Unless you wanna be a laughing stock. Just imagine her walking in the mall with this hideous outfit and outdated hairstyle. Even non celbs know how crazy this outfit looks. This whole thing makes me question her intelligence.. I am sure her competitor are having a laugh.
    Girl you need help.

  8. It takes personality to pull off such extreme looks. You can’t mix sabhya saree demeanour with Kardashian risqué clothes thing and get away with it. Now excuse me while I nurse my burning eyes.

  9. Wtthhey!!!!! This is beyond ridiculous. Will take Sonams overdressed looks over this any day. Also, I have lost interest in her looks since she went the “white washing” route. Why is bwood so obbessed with fair skin?

  10. Guess everyone has given the verdict loud and clear!!! even a plain white shorts would have elevated this look so much.
I hate those shoes with this. I guess she has worn these shoes couple of times.

  11. And hardly anybody commented on that white washed face. What is this obsession of looking 10 times more fairer than ur original skin tone. Looks so desperate.

  12. Any other day, this would have shocked me, but I saw someone wearing this just yesterday in NYC.
And it actually looked better on that person. I think the fit is the biggest issue here.
Also, it would have looked better was it just overly distressed jeans and tee rather than a jumpsuit.
