In Dolce & Gabbana

Deepika attended the Screen Awards in a lace Dolce & Gabbana gown keeping the make-up natural and finishing the look with peep-toe beige pumps.

While I love the hair, the teal gown would’ve popped a lot more with a dark berry lip color. Again, am disappointed by the shoe choice. They are too jarring against lace gown.

  1. Nothing works here. The gown, except the color, is hideous. The make up is washing her out and the hair is pretty average. She looks very very tired in the first picture.

    • agree!! if you could just crop this dress right where the lining ends, it would be the perfect look. shoes or the hair/makeup wouldnt be a prob!

Yeah, the shoes r wrong, but who cares when everything else is so right!

  3. Naomie Harris took to the red carpet promoting Skyfall wearing the same look. That was interesting on her – here, it falls flat and boring.

    • Harris went with a bodysuit within (I think), ditching the knee length underskirt that Dee is sporting. Had Dee gone the bodysuit route- Ms Harris would have no place to hide!

  4. Oh Noo !!! Why is did she go for this Aishwarya/Kate middleton hair colour ! People never come out of this colour once they experiment with it (unless its natural, ofcourse). It is a trap ! I am almost imagining myself not liking any her appearances in the months to come.
With Ash getting boring, Sonam going OTT, Kangna Missing in action and now Deepika going Brunette, all I can look forward to on HHC are Maria Goretti, Mini Mathur and sometimes Tisca and Anushka.

  5. the one actress who we can count on to look different and mange to get it right nearly all the time at all events!

the least we can do it appreciate that fact that she changes things up and we can count on her to pull something different off too!

  6. Gold shoes would have upped this look a lot. Love the gown, she could have done better on the styling, although with the hair and make up I get the mood she was going for.
